Got to participate in the most recent Turbophone! I loved the idea of floral mimicry in the little creature sent to me, so I went with something that blends into the nasturtiums to hunt 😈 Based on mashua (Tropaeolum tuberosum), a species from the Andes.

Two predators of the Akkrazaran succulent thickets, leggy moon jackals and spotted sabrecats. 'Jackal' packs lope over grasses that tickle their bellies, and weave through the narrow spineless places between patches of Euphorbia. The 'cats' will watch from the boughs of Acacias, or from within the shade of fan palms.
