San Jose's Rose, White, and Blue Parade has a long history of celebrating the rich heritage of the Santa Clara Valley - this remarkable film from 1929 shows the parades first iteration, as the Fiesta De Las Rosas rolls down Santa Clara Street and The Alameda!
Who doesn’t love a parade? Santa Clara Valley’s Portuguese community are represented here en force, walking, marching, and riding from the SES Hall in Santa Clara to Five Wounds Cathedral in San Jose. This annual Portugese tradition was filmed by Al Mattos and donated by his sister, who stars as the queen of this festa. We hope you enjoy a glimpse of 1938 and a time gone by.

It's football season, and this Varsity game between the Del Mar Dons and the Branham Bruins is a great one. Played at Branham High School in San Jose, California, these two local teams went head-to-head in an afternoon game to remember. Branham pulled off an impressive win, with a final score of 39 points to Del Mar's 6.
