Jake barely had time to gasp in surprise when Piers grabbed the front of his shirt, suddenly having his mouth occupied. He quickly pulled himself together, putting his arms around Piers' waist, leaning into him, and even deepening the kiss slightly.

After their flirtation, Piers felt dizzy, and he kissed Jake with unprecedented enthusiasm, they were already running out of oxygen, but it seemed to him that if he let Jake go now, he would disappear forever. And then Nivans' hands grabbed Mueller's ass. As if this was the right place to keep a mercenary by his side.

Jake made an embarrassingly high-pitched noise of surprise into the kiss. Face burning red, he bit Piers' bottom lip in retaliation.

The sound that came out of Jake's mouth appeared as quickly as it was lost in the kiss. Piers was already on edge and he didn't have enough air, it was like a game of suffocation, where after a period of hypoxia, euphoria arose, forcing the brain to work differently. He was looking at Jake, his eyes glistening wetly, as if he was drunk. He was really high, terribly aroused and dreaming that this moment would last forever.

Jake was the first to pull away, thrnjng his head slightly and gasping for breath. He still kept his arms tightly around Piers, as if holding himself up while he got air back into his lungs. Still feeling the hands on his ass, his face was tinted red.

Nivans pulled away from Jake a little, letting go of his ass. In a moment, he even forgot that he was holding onto him like a dog holding onto a piece of meat. After looking into his eyes for a while, Piers smiled and playfully smeared his nose on the mercenary's cheek.

Jake scoffed, pretending to hate it, as he pulled away from the nuzzling, blushing harder. "What are you even doing?!"

He looked at him from under his brows, still feeling that he had committed a folly by sharing his outburst of tenderness. "Okay, I won't do that anymore."

"No, no, you can-" He sighed, hesitating for a second, before pulling Piers closer into a hug, burying his face in his neck.

Piers's skin crawled. It was like that... suddenly. He felt Jake's warmth and inhaled his scent, which made his soul feel calm. Nivans wanted to stay in those arms forever.

Jake pressed his face in further, holding him slightly tighter. Maybe this was okay. Maybe they could be sweet together once in a while.

Piers finally pulled away from Jake's arms, a blush on his face. "It's unusual." He liked it, and he was just stating a fact.

"Was that too much?" He stared at the blush.

“No… I think… it’s… cute” He smiled awkwardly.

Jake covered his face with his hands. "I'm not cute." He replied stubbornly.

Piers stared at Jake, puzzled, wondering what to say. "You... you're cute." God, he didn't think Muller would make him say that.

He was embarrassed and blushing.

"It's... true."It seemed to be the most awkward moment in their conversation that could have been.

"Why are you being so sweet?" He whined, as if complaining. He was used to fighting Piers, getting insulted... not getting complimented.

He almost laughed, taking his hands off of his own red face. "You're clearly trying to manipulate me with your niceness or something."

"How can I do this to you?" He made an innocent face, not taking his eyes off Jake. "I'm an angel. I don't even know the meaning of such terrible words. Manipulate…»

He grinned slyly. "Yes, this puppy doesn't bite. Usually." He approached Jake, looking into his eyes. "But if he smells the delicious smell of meat..." His lips lifted higher in a sly smile. "... then he'll want to cling to it tightly." Nivans bit his lower lip, completely oblivious to the nonsense his brain was generating in the mercenary's presence.

Jake just kind of stared at him, brain short-circuiting. Of course his tone had to be hot. Of course Jake had to be flustered. His eyes focused on Piers' bottom lip when he bit it.

"You seem to be shaking." He stopped torturing his lower lip, closing his mouth in a grin. "I didn't know that you get worried when you see puppies."

"It's not that and you know it." He complained quietly. "...and I'm not shaking." He lied.

Piers's hand slid onto Mueller's stomach, hidden by his clothes, tracing simple patterns with his finger. He ran his finger down below her navel, tracing her hairline. "You really aren't shaking." He broke the silence of the room with a light laugh.

Jake would've laughed with him, but he was too preoccupied with the way his brain seemed to stop working at the touch. He refused to look Piers in the eye, his cheeks flushing as always.

He continued to tease Jake, watching with interest as an uneven blush flooded his face. Nivans's hand stopped on the border between Jake's T-shirt and jeans, and Piers could almost hear the mercenary holding his breath. And then he took hold of the bottom edge of Muller's T-shirt and pulled it up, tickling his lower abdomen, which trembled at the touch.

But he quietly shushed the mercenary so that he wouldn't say anything more, and kissed him himself, cupping Jake's face in his hands.
