WIP progress! (now with 50% more punchy-punchy action).
So, I'm thinking they both had other partners before they got paired up.** Something devastating happens, leaving both Pitch and Jack partnerless and grieving. They run into each other on base while they're still feeling raw and angry - their usual jabs and barbs go too deep this time and they end up fighting. They're perfectly matched, blow for blow, strike for strike, and take their frustrations out on each other until Marshal North steps in and intervenes. He gives them a proper dressing-down then marches them bloody and bruised to his office.
Once there, North lets loose, and tells them just how angry and disappointed he is in them - he understands the pain they're in, but they fail to see they're both directing their anger at possibly their greatest ally. North saw how well matched Pitch and Jack were when they fought, and convinces them to try drifting together. They go together like two terrifically damaged peas in a pod, AND THEY TOTALLY KICK ARSE CAUSE WHAT GOES TOGETHER BETTER THAN COLD AND DARK. <3
**(please excuse my complete lack of writing ability...)
Snuggle cuddles, because of reasons.
WIP. May or may not have watched two of my favourite movies back-to-back, and here's the inevitable outcome. Those two'd be totally drift compatible, y/y?
Played Transistor a while back, and accidentallied a cross-over. Mute Singer!Jack and Possessed Scythe!Pitch, anyone?
Slowly gaining momentum, and clawing my way back to the internet.
Because Clare's new hair is fabulous. <3
Blackice Challenge, Day 19: Tentacles. (Posting early 'cause I know I won't have time tomorrow.)
"It doesn't matter that Pitch's arms look deliciously toned, or that his ass looks insanely good in that Speedo... Jack has to win."
WHAT INSANE DELICIOUSNESS DID YOU JUST INFLICT ON ME, CLARE?! I CANNOT UNSEE. <3 <3 <3

... am I too late for the lingerie party?
Blackice Challenge, Day 9: 'Lingerie'.
Blackice Challenge, Day 1: 'Sensual Foreplay'.
Apparently I'm incapable of doing things in the right order, and only function after midnight. Go figure.
Blackice Challenge, Day 2: 'Vanilla'.
Was going to be for Day 1 but was too slow; suppose it works for 'vanilla' too, since it's so tame (boys, you're not even trying).
Pitch is concerned about my still being up at 3am (it's cutting into his precious nightmare time).
Hello, sorry to bother you, and I hope you don't become angry or sad =A=, but wanted to ask you: why have you changed in this way your drawing-style? (I look the last fanart of ROTG). That you had before was so lovely 0w0. Sorry for my english =///=
No no, that's fine - I've been thinking the same thing, too! :D
I think my problem is that I don't draw often enough for one style to stick - every time I find time to sit down and draw again, I can't seem to remember what I used to do, so I have to figure it all out again!
I recently got a new computer, too, and lost all my old tablet/brush settings + my favourite paint program doesn't like the touchscreen (it seems to think I've got ten brushes going at once!) so I've had to switch from Paint Tool Sai to Photoshop, which is taking some adjusting.
And on top of that(!) I suppose I feel like my style is a bit underdeveloped at the moment, so I'm trying out a whole heap of different things to see what speaks to me. I think I will keep a lot of my earlier style (very glad you like it!), and maybe just tweak it a little here and there. Hopefully it will settle down soon and stop being all over the place!
In the meantime, thank you for putting up with it all! :)
Sneaking a little pose practice before bed. (used this figure drawing practice site)
Yay for holidays and finally wrangling new computer into submission!
Little bit of A Light in the Dark 'verse Blackice to celebrate. ;)
More hit-and-miss Pitch practice.
I promise I'll make something decent soon! (That day is not today.)
