PSA: See you around, mate.

// Hello friends and strangers, thanks for coming to my TED talk for a long overdue announcement. My hiatus has dragged on a little longer and it was really good cutting myself off of everything related to tumblr and the rp community, as it has enabled me to make a decision I’ve been pushing off for a long time: I will no longer write on tumblr. As much as I love my characters and love my rp partners even more, the spark just ain’t there anymore. And if you’ve been around this blog for a while, you’ve definitely seen my 100 attempts at coming back in an active way, and that’s just not happening. 

So, after well over two years of taking those dimwits I call muses on more or less unreasonable adventures, it’s time to pack it up. I’m not going to delete any of my blogs, as I’m quite proud of what I’ve written and very very fond of my interactions with you guys, but no more writing will happen here. This is me deciding to focus on other things, to free up some time I was dedicating to browsing tumblr aimlessly and forcing myself to do drafts before giving up because inspiration was not there, and to simply let the characters live on in my head in other ways.

I’ll still be around on Discord, and maybe still writing there: again, the characters or my partners are not the problem, the tumblr format just isn’t suited for me anymore. 

Thank you to my wonderful TF2 rp partners and friends for all the adventures, support, feels and laughters - @lcvenderbruises @refiinedrogue @zweiherzen @aeiiope @unflappable-red @astral-glass @cynthpop @redheav @talariis @feixing02 and whoever I am very sorry to forget because my brain is non-functioning right now. It has been a blast, and I’m still on Discord to talk about characters and write privately and chat and all that stuff. Frankly there is no difference between that and before - only the fact that it’s a permanent decision. 

Thanks for the good times, I hope to see you around, and remember to be awesome and kind to each other and have fun writing your beautiful characters.

Me looking up the TF2 Sniper tag on tumblr and finding only three things:

1. Shippy stuff 2. More shippy stuff 3. Stuff I’ve already reblogged three times over.

Mundy hates cold weather and snow in general with a burning passion, but you can be 100% sure that, as the absolute professional he is, he wanted to be sure he’d be able to take on any contract in any circumstances, and as such, took some time at some point in his life to seriously learn skiing and how to operate his rifle and handle his shots in high altitudes and very low temperatures. And being a perfectionist, he kept practising on and off and is now a remarkably good skier for someone who’s spent most of his life in Australia and Louisiana. This man could easily compete in a biathlon competition, handles himself very well in alpine skiing, and he can ski in almost any condition on any terrain, on or off-track (though mostly off-track because he’d pick up his target hidden in the mountain woods). 

He still hates it because it’s cold and wet and cold but at least he can do it.
