Crochet is not just a hobby, but a passion. :3 I love sharing my creations with others and making things for my friends. I've been crocheting, off and on, since I was eight-years-old. In 2012, I picked up my crochet hooks and have spent every day since happily surrounded by yarn. I love to make anything that is weird or cute, with a special admiration for zombies and monsters. :3 If there is a pattern you would like me to try please feel free to share it. I love all kinds of patterns and like to write my own every now and again. I'm always looking for new crochet buddies and pen pals. Happy Hookin'!
After a long hiatus, I am back at it! I decided to pick things up by doing something relatively simple and useful. I've started on a wayuu bag. They were the big craze a couple years ago. With a bit of doing and undoing, this is about an hours worth of work. Still lots more to go, but I'm happy with I so far. :3
So going through some of these parts that I need to dispose of here at work, I found a broken drill transmission with some pretty cool gears in it... I'm thinking of incorporating them into a Steampunk crochet doll! When inspiration hits you, go with it!!!

These are two dolls I made for my nieces! I think they are super cute!
I freehanded them, though my style is influenced on that of Ohana Craft’s. I shared them with her on Facebook and she really liked them. That is a huge compliment for me, since I really LOVE her work.
About to box these up and ship these out to two very excited little girls!
I've been sick on the couch this weekend, trying to catch up on some WIP's . this little guy kind of formed out of nothing. I wanted to make a monster. that turned into wanting a yeti... which lives in the mountains... I bet he would Yoddle... WeinerSnitzle!
Yeah... thats pretty much my creative thought process. :3 Hope you like him!
So I've gotten a couple emails so far "Where have you been? We haven't seen a post from you in a while!"
I appreciate all the love and support lately. I've been dealing with a pretty serious health issue. Thankfully I have a pretty big support base of family and friends around me and I've gotten through a pretty rough patch recently. Suffice to say, crochet has not been top priority, but I'm getting back to a few more of my projects and hope you guys will like what I'm working on.
I'll be posting some pictures of working in progress this weekend as well as some ideas for future projects I need some input on. Thanks for the Support guys and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
As I stated earlier... here is what I was working on today. I got the idea searching through Google images today! Goats are my favorite animals EVER!!!! One day... I will have a pet pigmy fainting goat... and I will love him... with all my heart... and I will only laugh a tiny bit when people scare him... only a tiny bit...
Got some thick chunky yarn from a friend and an idea from a picture off the internet, so I decided to invent a pattern today. Wish me luck. Ill be crocheting while yelling at the Saints game ... with a migraine. I'll post progress pictures later.
Also, I've been thinking a lot about creating more of my own patterns. I have a ton of ideas, I just never write them down. And I always gets so busy browsing the internet that I fall in love with some one else's work that I never finish my own. I need to type up my patterns for Sam and Mr. Flibble. You can tell I'm still new at the creator process.... I hate that I don't have a beautiful format to my pdfs like most of the designs I buy. I feel like an amateur.
Horace Behr is fairly mild-mannered, and is rather polite most of the time. However, he has some more unconventional habits. In his spare time, he swears at geese and eats copious amounts of sand. He has trouble making friends. He seems quite content to spend his spare time verbally abusing our feathered friends
Ok... Sorry I've been a bit absent as of late. Fall is notorious for season premiers. HIMYM... Grey's Anatomy... Big Bang Theory.... Agents of Shield... even South Park. Well that and Diablo 3, any time in my living room is being spent tied to my television. DAMN YOU. I can't accomplish anything...
No pattern here, but I've been working on some of the Ohana Craft patterns, so it's loosely inspired by them.
And I LOVE the idea she gave me for eyes. With my amigurumis I was going through close to $5 worth of safety eyes a week on tiny crafts and I'd have to order anything under 10mm online because no one would stock them here.
So a BIG thank you to Ohana Crafts! This little nurse is in honor of the creative inspiration you've bestowed upon me. :3
