We decided we’ll do video updates every now and then!
Hayfever Devlog - March 31st
We are hard at work with getting ready for the Nordsken event. Right now we are very close with reworking all the messy game jam code. So soon we will start looking for playtesters again! Hayfever will get a graphics push next update. Stay tuned!
DEV LOG - JAN 1ST
We haven’t posted in a while because we are working on making pre-production work for the alpha phase.
One of the two of us is going to work full time on Hayfever in April. This is when we enter Alpha production and we aim to release Hayfever in 2019 (tbd).
We will start posting much more this year. Especially during Alpha production. So keep your eyes open on our Facebook, Twitter or this dev log!

DEV LOG - JULY 2ND
CURRENT STATUS
So that’s the first week!
We have a strong foundation now and we’re feeling optimistic about the game’s progression. All the basic mechanics are in the game except letters and mailboxes (kinda like keys and locked doors).
There are some tweaks that have to be done, but the game is on the right track.
WHAT WE HAVE
Main sneeze mechanic is implemented
Player controller and sneeze aiming
You can collect letters, but not yet deliver them
All animation and assets that are needed are completed (but not all of them are in the game)
The pipeline works completely and smoothly
The main menu is completed along with GUI, affected by it’s mechanics.
Camera is almost as we want it
Music!
PLANS FOR NEXT WEEK
Tweaks for sneeze power
Tweak player controller
All levels done
Deliver mail
Introduce sneeze in level 2 (currently you always have it)
Implement final main menu
Sounds
Reset after death
Implement all animations
Add pollen (pick up to boost sneeze meter)
Graphic polish to make the game pretty!
Things are going pretty well and we think we will hit the mark with the rest of this on next jam occasion (~2 weeks from now). We are excited to let you all play the demo!

DEV LOG - JUNE 26TH
This is really our official start day of the game jam (we had a sneak start)!
As Jonas is blasting through Unity tutorials, Conny has been working on chopping up the mockup into tilesets. We are going to start working on the main mechanics tomorrow.
GUI AND STUFF
There’s also been work done on the main menu and a marketing image for the soundtrack. The finalized design of the main character is now complete.
The soundtrack is released tomorrow!
DOCUMENTING
We also want to let you know that we are recording as much as we can of this game jam. We will do our best to get this out with the game’s release at the end of the summer.
DEV LOG 1 - JUNE 24TH
This is the day! The day we start working on Hayfever!
This is a game jam project. It’s being created over the course of two weeks (on two occasions, one week at the time).
Our artist have been working on mock ups and assets beforehand but things will change as we progress. You’ll see all about that process right here!
