About: Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix. Based on Marvel Comics' Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series, the game is set to be released for Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 26, 2021.

In Guardians of the Galaxy, the player assume control of Peter Quill / Star-Lord from a third-person perspective. The player can utilize Star-Lord's elemental gun to defeat enemies, and fly through the air using his jet boots. Other members of the titular team, which include Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Drax the Destroyer, are not directly playable as they are controlled by artificial intelligence, but players can issue commands to them during combat. Each character has their own unique skills and abilities which can be chained together to inflict more damages. As the player combat enemies, a meter will build up and allow players to unleash a special ability known as "Team Huddle", which prompts Star-Lord to create a motivational speech and play a song to inspire his teammates. A good speech will grant the other Guardians gameplay benefits, though Star-Lord's abilities will be boosted regardless of the quality of the speech.

At various points of the game, the player can make key decisions, via dialogue trees, that will affect the relationships between the Guardians and the outcomes of certain missions. Throughout the game, Star-Lord's decisions will be referenced by his teammates. Despite the branching dialogue paths, the core story remains the same and the game only has one ending.

About Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. About Rocket League: Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch being released later on. Psyonix began formal development of Rocket League around 2013, refining the gameplay from Battle-Cars to address criticism and fan input. Psyonix also recognized their lack of marketing from Battle-Cars and engaged in both social media and promotions to market the game, including offering the game for free for PlayStation Plus members on release.

Rocket League was praised for its gameplay improvements over Battle-Cars, as well as its graphics and overall presentation, although some criticism was directed towards the game's physics engine. The game earned a number of industry awards and saw over 10 million sales and 40 million players by the beginning of 2018. Rocket League has also been adopted as an esport, with professional players participating through ESL and Major League Gaming along with Psyonix's own Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

Evil Dead: The Game is an upcoming video game developed by Boss Team Games and published by Saber Interactive, and based on the Evil Dead franchise. It will feature co-operative gameplay and player versus player (PvP) combat. It will also feature Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, as well as Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell and Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar from the television series Ash vs Evil Dead.

Evil Dead: The Game is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows in 2021.

About Elden Ring: Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a collaborative effort between game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin. It is scheduled for release for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on January 21, 2022.

Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. No major additional information was revealed until a trailer, shown at Summer Game Fest in June 2021, announced a release date of January 21, 2022 and the game's availability on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Elden Ring is an action role-playing game being developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is being directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding by fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, best known for his A Song of Ice and Fire novel series. A fan of Martin's work, Miyazaki contacted him with an offer to work together on a project, giving him the creative freedom to write the overarching backstory of the game's universe. Miyazaki used his contributions as the foundation of the game's narrative, comparing the process to that of using a "dungeon master's handbook in a tabletop RPG". Some staff from Game of Thrones, a television series adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, assisted with the game's development.

Work began on Elden Ring in early 2017, following the release of The Ringed City, a piece of downloadable content for Dark Souls III. As with games in the Souls series, players will have the ability for players to create their own custom characters instead of playing as a fixed protagonist. Miyazaki also considered Elden Ring to be a more "natural evolution" to the Souls series, featuring an open world with new gameplay mechanics such as horseback riding and combat. Unlike many other open-world games, Elden Ring will not feature populated towns with non-player characters, with the world having numerous dungeon-like ruins in its place. When asked about the possibility of the story being novelized, Miyazaki stated that he would rather have players experience it themselves by playing the game, as he thinks the game's secrets and mysteries would be spoiled otherwise. The score is being written by Yuka Kitamura, who has composed for many of Miyazaki's previous games.
