pixieofmayhem replied to your post: I’m actually considering selling Mea (FP65/Soom…
It’s ok for them to sit on the shelves for months. The question is, would you miss them if they were gone? And would the new dollies bring more inspiration/joy? If no and the first and/or yes on the second then go for it I say. ^_^
I don’t know. There’s a lot of sentimental value to them, since Mea was/is my first roleplay OC, but on the other hand I have the feeling they’re blocking my development with the other bigger dolls and their story, because my brain always wants to include the elves x_x
I really don’t mind tiny dolls sitting around - thats what my zoo is doing, lol :,D but big ones? Thats a different story…
Oooooh! I totally know that feeling when you're going "Just fit in the story damnit!! You've come with me this far, don't be difficult now!". I'd say either put your foot down with yourself and let them be sentimental shelfwarmers but away from your storylines, especially if you can finance the little ones without selling the big’uns. OR, which is painful but I’ve found the best way to move forward creatively and yielded the best results... “Kill your darlings” - Sell them and break free / Marie Kondo fashion: Thank them for what they’ve given you and let them move on to another home where they’ll be new and inspiring once more.
(am I of any help what so ever? Nope, not my job XD )
