I KNOW the Viktor and Jesus parallels are very intentional and there’s plenty of them but I just remembered another:

How in renaissance paintings Jesus is always draped in blue and red symbolizing blood(being human, connection to humanity and the physical world) and his connection to the Devine and being heaven royalty.

Viktor’s blanket is blue and red. Again symbolizing being human and humanity. And the blue for his connection to the divinity of the hex core and being essentially arcane royalty

HOWEVER to show the differences of the two- for Viktor the blue completely covers up the red, as the red is only on the inside, symbolizing the arcane essentially swallowing his humanity. Covering it up, you can hardly see it.

In depictions of Jesus the red and blue are always both visible to show the balance of both
