Now that I think about it, I didn’t post about this here yet, but…

Konomi Takeshi, aka Konomi-sensei, aka the creator of Prince of Tennis, aka the guy whose manga I’ve been obsessed with for like half my life

…replied to me on Twitter last weekend ヽ(￣▽￣)ﾉ

There was a big Jump SQ ad in Shinjuku Station, and he posted a pic of himself posing in front of the Tenipuri panels in it, and invited his followers on Twitter to take pics of themselves posing the same way and send them to him. And I happened to be in Tokyo last weekend for the SUNPLUS event, so I went and found the ad and got my picture taken with it (there were like eight other Tenipuri fans all gathered around doing the same thing, it was wonderful) and tweeted at him, and…ヽ(；▽；)ノ

He only replied to 25 people or so before saying he had to go back to work! I was one of the last ones ;; But what’s even better is that in his reply he said “even someone from America…!!” but…I didn’t say I was from America in my tweet to him…which means he clicked through to my profile LMAO I didn’t have enough characters to mention Yamabuki in my tweet (hence the Yamabuki bear pic, lol) but I hope he noticed my extreme love for them anyway XD (He also mentioned Tenimyu, which I didn’t, though that could also be because I have Dream Live in my display name…)

Anyway, what a good guy. Thank you, Konomi-sensei!!!

In finishing the first half of Ryouma’s route in English I was really glad to see that I wasn’t completely as lost from the Japanese version as I thought. While I didn’t grasp every detail from Kaze, I got the important bits so that made me feel better.

Announced earlier today on the official site, Dream Live 2017 goods information is finally out!

The goods line-up this time includes:

Pamphlet - a 48-page A4-size pamphlet, including introductions of all the characters as well as off-shots, etc.

Poster - featuring the main promo visual for Dream Live 2017

Dream Light 2017 - a penlight with a Dream Live 2017 design, featuring five colors - blue, green, pastel blue, red, and pink.

Towels - one for each school involved in Dream Live 2017

Wristbands - the Yamabuki and Hyoutei wristbands from their Team Lives will be sold here, as well as brand-new Seigaku and Rokkaku wristbands! The Seigaku one is colored differently from the one sold previously.

Eco Bag - Tenimyu’s first eco bag! Comes with a pouch so you can fold it and put it away when you’re not using it.

Stage Shot Posters - B4-size posters featuring stage shots from the previous shows. Each team has two, a “team shot” (featuring one group shot and solo shots of each character) and a “game shot” (featuring action shots, mostly from the tennis matches). These are random. There will also be a complete set available for anyone who wants to buy all 8.

Double-Pocket Clearfile - a clearfile featuring the main visual of the show.

Photosets - the photosets this time have only two photos, a ‘character design shot’ featuring the character in front of a background different for each school, and a 'character posing shot’ featuring the character posing with their tennis racket. There will also be complete sets available for each team. The complete sets each come with a bonus photo album featuring that team on the cover.

In addition, there will also be a Dream Set available, consisting of the pamphlet, eco bag, and penlight. Like last year, the Dream Set comes with a bonus photo, and there’s one photo for each team (a team stage shot from a previous show - Seigaku and Rokkaku from Seigaku vs Rokkaku, Hyoutei from Seigaku vs Hyoutei, and Yamabuki from Team Live Yamabuki). However, unlike last year, rather than selecting which team you’d like, the photos will be random.

Finally, they’ll be selling a large amount of old goods as well. Almost all of the goods from Seigaku vs Rokkaku, Seigaku vs Hyoutei, and Seigaku vs Yamabuki will be available, as well as some goods from Team Live Hyoutei, and the pamphlets from the rest of the 3rd Season musicals. However, not everything is available for every show, so please check the list on the official site if you’re looking for anything in particular!

Dream Live 2017 opens in exactly a week, on May 26th in Yokohama Arena. Let’s look forward to a fun show~!

Okay but wait-

Please tell me that somebody else has noticed how weird Noctis’s walk cycle is? I mean- he runs like a total spastic. But has anyone noticed that after a while, his leg goes kind of stiff and after a while, he even starts limping? Like, even when he’s running up hills, you can VISIBLY SEE his leg go stiff and he kind of starts this awkward side run thing. At first, I was really confused as to WHY they gave him that kind of walk cycle. And when I asked my friend about it, they said that people walk like that when they’ve sustained a leg injury during childhood But then I realized…. In the past, Noctis has been depicted SITTING IN a wheelchair And while there’s no evidence stating what EXACT body part he could have hurt, the limp in Noctis’s walk cycle is proof enough that he’s got a bad leg. Holy smokes. Mind-blown
