I just loved watching this Paley tonight! Clear video and sound! Of course Caitriona sipping whisky from Sam's glass 2 times was heartwarming for me! I think Co-Captain did the second one for good measure, making sure everybody caught that couple-ly gesture! And Sam's unease explaining how Outlander changed his life and swiping his "sweaty" brow sent me more truth vibes. He was being extra careful with his words. Somehow Caitriona didn't have to do her version bc they were running out of time. Thank God for small mercies (in case the b.s. "husband" gets to be mentioned again! And the way they always looked at each other before answering was adorable!

Applied Lip Reading: NYC S8 Premiere

Hi, hello, it's me, and it's been a very long time since I posted. I've been off Tumblr and intentionally away from Sam and Cait, Cait and T, and whatever letter of the alphabet is near Sam these days for photo ops.

AND IT'S BEEN GREAT.

I'VE LOVED IT.

I haven't given them any attention, energy, money, or any of my precious time.

So imagine my surprise when I was tagged in several clips of SC in NYC and asked if I could decipher any dialogue by lip reading. Someone remembered me! I was flattered momentarily, then thwarted by the shaky camera (maybe you've seen the clip that I took this screenshot from):

I could only get Cait's last word, which I think was "...surprise'. Mildly intriguing at best. Not enough to hold my attention.

Then @mookyfromthebroch sent me via DM a post that included the following gifs, and...

Here we go.

Cait: "...so hot", Sam with the "stud" face, followed by Cait with the shimmy va-va-va-voom shoulder action.

Oh yeah. They're back!

Sam: "All this is over. Can you imagine?"

And both seem tickled.

Cait: "You're on my ass a little bit", Sam with the naughty boy eyebrows (GOD, I'VE MISSED THEM!), Cait with the giggle you can almost hear through the screen.

Sam: "Never happened", peeks at her bewbs.
