777 after leaving the building where he previously was headed towards the area where the survivors don’t have to go, only to go through there till he finally got to the killers’s side. He glanced around for a moment, his visor glitching briefly. And soon enough, he walked around the area carelessly, looking for Elliot first.

“I wonder..if things are the same here- or similar enough..”

He mumbled lowly to himself, pondering.

Tents, a bunch of them. The Killers seem to only have one cabin. You can't help but feel something behind you

"Oh damn, a newbie"

Oh its one of them. Not Elliot, unfortunately. She has spider-like legs coming out from her back. She stood taller than the gamblr on those legs, and her body looked like it was melting

"Are you new here, or did your boss kick you out?"

Boss? What the hell was she on about?

He blinked a few times upon spotting the tents, his visor showing ‘???’ then ‘!!!’ as his body did a slight jump, startled at first. He did not expect this-

He improvised a quick greeting as he turned around to gaze at the one who spoke to him, putting on a cocky grin as if to play that he definitely didn’t get startled or anything. 777 stared at her, then at her appearance, his visor going back to showing ‘???’. Who was she? What even made her look like that?- gosh, he never knew there could be ppl who are taller than him, or at least look like that.

“Hu,,What- boss?? Ii have no idea what you are talking about there, but- I suppose I’m new around here..aha. ,, Who are you-? And about the whole..’boss’ thing. What do you mean?”

He managed to say, asking those questions out of curiosity. Honestly, he wanted to know about that over everything that was said. He’d ask more, but for now he limited his questions to only 2 at a time.

She seems to be fixated on the boss part, "That boss took my kids. Those people who work under him act like they know nothin! But I see through them! It told me that they took them. And I will get my kids back. Their boss has them, and if I kill enough of them, then he'll have to cave and give me my family back." She stabs one of her spider legs into the ground to emphasize the killing part. Then takes a breath. "Sorry about that. Anyway, welcome! I'm 118o8"

777 listened, brows furrowing. He..was still very confused about the whole boss thing but, at least he got the idea that this one killer at least has a,,fair reason. He nodded slowly, mostly just to show that he is listening rather than understanding wise- though he wasn’t scared when the other did that action. Why would he, either way? Sure, his past self would be scared and all but, he is different since that day. Even if those old memories are still there,, Though..the only ‘boss’ he could think of was Don but, it can’t be him, right? Maybe it is just someone else-

He paused for a moment, keeping that short as he debated whether to ask or not. But perhaps, if he is careful enough with how he asks that, it’ll be fine? Yeah..as long as nobody tries to touch his F3X again or even try to harm it, things should be fine-..still though, it was probably best for the other to not know some things. Knowing who you hurt after a while of not knowing, or even do so in the first place, it can be..very awful. ..How does someone even ask about it carefully- eh, however it goes, it goes-

Elliot glares at them. "How would you not know. Weren't you there after me? Couldn't have you visit her in the hospital?" Elliot doesn't say anything else. He backs away and lets out a sigh, "What about dad? Did you get to know he was okay?"

777 after leaving the building where he previously was headed towards the area where the survivors don’t have to go, only to go through there till he finally got to the killers’s side. He glanced around for a moment, his visor glitching briefly. And soon enough, he walked around the area carelessly, looking for Elliot first.

“I wonder..if things are the same here- or similar enough..”

He mumbled lowly to himself, pondering.

Tents, a bunch of them. The Killers seem to only have one cabin. You can't help but feel something behind you

Oh its one of them. Not Elliot, unfortunately. She has spider-like legs coming out from her back. She stood taller than the gamblr on those legs, and her body looked like it was melting

"Are you new here, or did your boss kick you out?"

Boss? What the hell was she on about?

He blinked a few times upon spotting the tents, his visor showing ‘???’ then ‘!!!’ as his body did a slight jump, startled at first. He did not expect this-

He improvised a quick greeting as he turned around to gaze at the one who spoke to him, putting on a cocky grin as if to play that he definitely didn’t get startled or anything. 777 stared at her, then at her appearance, his visor going back to showing ‘???’. Who was she? What even made her look like that?- gosh, he never knew there could be ppl who are taller than him, or at least look like that.

“Hu,,What- boss?? Ii have no idea what you are talking about there, but- I suppose I’m new around here..aha. ,, Who are you-? And about the whole..’boss’ thing. What do you mean?”

He managed to say, asking those questions out of curiosity. Honestly, he wanted to know about that over everything that was said. He’d ask more, but for now he limited his questions to only 2 at a time.

She seems to be fixated on the boss part, "That boss took my kids. Those people who work under him act like they know nothin! But I see through them! It told me that they took them. And I will get my kids back. Their boss has them, and if I kill enough of them, then he'll have to cave and give me my family back." She stabs one of her spider legs into the ground to emphasize the killing part. Then takes a breath. "Sorry about that. Anyway, welcome! I'm 118o8"

777 listened, brows furrowing. He..was still very confused about the whole boss thing but, at least he got the idea that this one killer at least has a,,fair reason. He nodded slowly, mostly just to show that he is listening rather than understanding wise- though he wasn’t scared when the other did that action. Why would he, either way? Sure, his past self would be scared and all but, he is different since that day. Even if those old memories are still there,, Though..the only ‘boss’ he could think of was Don but, it can’t be him, right? Maybe it is just someone else-

His wording may be slightly off, but perhaps he just didn’t know well how to word there- or really feel. He smiled a bit, offering the other a hand for a handshake.

Elliot almost let himself get distracted by the pizza on the ground for what was likely too long; he was never so careless as to leave his own on the ground and– why did it look like that...?

Doesn't matter! Clearly that was not the priority. The blond followed Guest's outline until he finally reached him, albeit a bit winded. He grabbed a slice of pizza and waved with his other hand to catch the man's attention; he didn't even seem to notice who the killer was yet.

Guest runs towards the pizza boy, grabbing the pizza before booking it. Elliot was planning to give chase before stopping in his place, staring at the other version of himself. His grip tightened on the pizza cutter. Pity. That's all he felt staring at him. Pity this Elliot still cared for people who would just let him die. He doesn't say anything, letting his unfortunate copy make the first move

Elliot let out a relieved sigh when he saw Guest take the pizza; sure, he ran away, but at least he was alive. He finally looked up and noticed the killer before him–

He stared for a while longer than he should have, gazing into eyes that were supposed to be his own, but they had been robbed of everything he valued. Elliot had almost hoped this was one of Noli's hallucinations, but he wasn't trying to attack or distract, he was just... standing.

“-You're not really me... are you?”

"I am you. The you who learned." Elliot stared into the other's eyes. seeing the care, the hope, the spark. The one he lost so long ago. That drive to save them, no matter what, no matter the cost. It intrigued him but made him feel sick. How could a version of him still be so blind to it after all this time? He steps closer to the other Elliot, "He's already ran off. Left you to die. Sad, isn't it?"

Elliot seemed more disgusted with every word this... other version of him spoke. What the hell happened to him that he would act like that-?

“You hurt him! Whatever you think you learned, it's wrong!”

He raised his voice just slightly, he had always been vocal about his hatred for violence, after all. He did instinctively step back when he saw Elliot try to close some distance, though.

“He was scared, it's not his fault!”

He glanced back to the direction Guest had fled, but he still seemed not to have a single doubt in his mind.

“It's not sad, you're just cynical. I'm strong, too, he knows that!”

He laughs, "I remember being like you, holding onto the hope. Holding onto that care." It was amusing in a sad way. Hearing Elliot believe that someone even cared. The people who cared are gone. In a world that he can never get back to. He walks closer to the pizza boy. "He's not coming back, you know. He's not going to save you."

Elliot kept backing away until he felt his back hit a wall, both literally and metaphorically.

“Because it's important to hold onto your values– you can't just leave everything behind!”

He scolded, despite being in no place to do so. His voice, however, cracked midway through his sentence: even while arguing, he was scared of him.

“Of course he'll come back, he—”

Elliot hesitated. Guest was already out of sight, after all...

“-And even if? He's injured, anyways.. My teammates like me, somebody's bound to come help at some point!”

Elliot steps closer. "Are they even here! Look around, Elliot. Do you see any of your teammates running over to help you out? Do you?" He looks around. Not a single soul nearby, "look, I didn't give up on my values, I only chose that these people aren't worth it. That they don't deserve my kindness. One day, you learn that too."

He couldn't disagree on that; their surroundings looked... completely empty.

“I-I'm sure they have a good reason! You can't just accuse them of--! They like me, I know they do!”

He was grasping at straws, admittedly, but that was a better option than ever agreeing with anything he said.

“Everyone deserves kindness, I don't care what you think! You're barely even me anymore-!”

Oh, how sick this version of him made him feel. "Does the hacker deserve kindness? Does the child? For the amount of times they burnt your workplace." Elliot grabs the other by its shirt, staring directly into its eyes, "You really are too kind for your own good. People here will abuse that" He throws Elliot onto the ground

“He's a kid, why wouldn't he?! And Seven, he- he's trying to be better! He's wronged me, definitely, but at least he's trying!”

Elliot insisted; he only froze as he grabbed him, falling onto the grass beneath them without putting up much of a fight– except verbally, of course.

“At least I'm not some cynical bastard like you! I don't.. go around and- and hurt people who did nothing to me!”

"He gets to have his happy ending with his son, while I still wonder if my sacrifice saved my sister. A sacrifice I had to fucking make becuase of his child burning down my workplace." Elliot laughs, "Maybe I am cynical, but do you expect me to think good of the person who is the reason THAT IM HERE"

Elliot flinched when he raised his voice. He hated that what was essentially the worst version of himself had a point, something he could actually agree with..

“I'm not saying it's fair...”

He mumbled. Maybe he could get through to him, even if just for a moment- enough for him not to get killed, at least.

“-Hell, I'm not even saying you have to forgive him, but that's not a good reason to be a killer-! Look, I understand how you feel, but it won't do you any good to just hate! That's what Spectre wants.”

EVERYONE HERE To feel even an ounce of what I have gone through," Elliot lets out a strained laugh, "I don't get it! I really don't. How do you still care? Elliot's expression soured the moment he met eyes with the other him, and yet he still refused to look away. It took him just a beat too long to answer–

“...I want to be good.”

He paused to choose his next words properly, though it still came out rather weak.

“I can't control how other people treat me, sure, but I can control my own actions and zi want to be good. I want to believe it'll repay me, at some point.”

"The round is nearly over, Elliot. Where is Guest? Is he going to repay you? He hasn't come back to save you." He pulls out his weapon, but not to attack. He offers the cleaver out for the other to grab, "Repay him for all the times you've saved him. Took a hit for him, and he just ran. I know you want to, Elliot. I know you want revenge," He smiles as he stares at the other waiting for him to grab it or the pushback that he is guessing will come

He couldn't make many excuses for him, he knew that well by now. Not for Guest, not for any of the survivors that seemed to have completely vanished from the map.

He flinched when he saw Elliot grab his weapon, but quickly realized what he was actually doing.

“I- NO! What is wrong with you?! You don't know what I want! You don't know anything!”

And with that, Elliot had ran off, probably found his new target to kill
