And if it had been a guy wearing the shirt this probably would never have happened. I have dudes (especially in the age range of 30-50) try to school me and question my ‘punk rock credibility’ way too frequently. And other female friends say the same thing. Of course when I actually try to play the situation kindly and talk to them about my favorite bands they have no clue what I’m talking about, because this kind of behavior usually comes from surface-level peons.
