remember how percy comes from a relatively poor background and was raised by a single mother and lived with an alcoholic abusive stepfather and put up with bullies his whole life and thought his adhd and dyslexia made him stupid and faced a lot of ableism from teachers and other kids and befriends the social outcasts like grover and tyson because he has such a good heart and the reason he got attacked by his first monster ever was because he stepped in and defended grover and remember how he just wants to be a good person and lead a normal life and no one will let him
