From the Wardrobe: Zanerobe Jeans

I prefer to keep it simple most days. I’ll pair a button up with jeans, then throw on some boots. If comfort is important to you, I recommend Zanerobe jeans.

The drop-crotch design is trending, but don’t let that deter you from trying them. They’re extra comfy.

It’s a bit of a challenge to find the right size—their smallest size, 29, is usually hard to find. I’m 5'5 and 118lbs, and 29 fits well. Depending on the style of jean, I can go up to a 30.

Below you’ll find two different styles from Zanerobe: Dynamo and Slingshot. The difference? Dynamo has a snugger fit and comes with elastic rib cuffs, which is a nice detail for those of you who want to highlight your shoes. The slingshot is the go to if you’re in a baggier mood.

Our weekend was short but we were grateful to spend it together. We both live in Southern California but in separate cities. It might seem like we're recording nothing but it's simple reflections like these that get us through the blues. If you live in an LDR (long distance relationship), we encourage you to document your memories as well.

We got into a terrible fight earlier this day before we left Niseko because we didn’t plan well enough with our skiing/snowboarding lessons. Long story short, since it was our first time doing either, Leilani wanted lessons and Amy didn’t make the booking and thought they could just do it without. So we both stormed off and ended up on opposite sides of the mountain to snowboard/ski. About an hour later, we both got scared, called each other and met up a few hours later after we were done to laugh about our first time experience and fight. We also took pictures like we did it together😂 sadly we didn’t have time to do the snow activities after we made up, but it was still one of our most memorable experiences during the trip.

We mostly take pictures with our phones during our trips but last time we brought our go pro. It made it easier to snap pictures of us together with the background. This one was taken in Dazaifu, Fukuoka and is one of my many favorites!

Fun fact: When we were coming up with our name 'Places Two See', we had a few different options. 'Four Eyes Travel' was in the running, but now that we think about it, maybe it should've been Six, because Amy wears glasses/contacts.

This is a picture of my earl grey tea and strawberries with sugar on the side for a snack that Leilani prepared for me when I last visited. She’s the best, I miss her every single day but stumbling on these cute, warm moments are always nice.

Leilani commutes to work everyday on her bicycle and I accompany her on the phone. It takes approximately 7 minutes and she even goes up a few hills. I'd say she's one heck of a speedy biker. And a mighty cute one too. #wcw #wce
