I’m getting better at bringing out the colors of the stars in my time stack photos. I’ve been processing the timelapses twice for better results. One as I would normally process, bringing out the fainter stars by brightening, and the other with the intent of getting better color in the star trails, which involves bringing the highlights down, so the brighter stars don’t get overexposed. Visit my instagram page to see the timelapse video, www.instagram.com/mattmolloyphoto/ I made this time stack by combining 214 photos into one image. Here’s a quick and easy Photoshop tutorial of the process I use to make time stacks. https://youtu.be/oTfp47jTzWc
