A drawing I did for my friend @livelygranger! If anyone doesn’t know, this is Shiro and Luna, the main characters of my webcomic Planetkiller. 

I experimented with giving Shiro curly hair in this one, and although it’s cute enough I think I’ll be keeping it straight in canon. Also, did a test online; Shiro’s a hufflepuff, and Luna is a slytherin!

[Just a WIP to show that I’m not, in fact, dead! I have actually gotten work done on Planetkiller, just... not nearly enough. I’m not gonna make any production promises until at least after syllabus week when I know just how much homework I’m gonna be saddled with.]

[Fun fact about Shiro: as insinuated in her bio card (seen on the Characters page) she has a rather special power that terrifies even Luna. I wonder what that could be?]

I have officially moved into my new dorm! It’s been a long day and I’m extremely tired, but everything’s going smoothly. If the workload from my new classes doesnt end up being too heavy, Planetkiller should make some progress soon. We’ll see how it goes! Love y’all!

Aight, let’s jump right into this! Info under the cut!

1: SCHEDULE!

I’m going to college within a matter of days, so I will be really honest here: I am NOT a full time artist, and Planetkiller is a passion project, not a paid project. AS OF RIGHT NOW, I have no concrete upload schedule. That’s something I’m gonna have to figure out once I get truly and properly busy. What I’m AIMING for is 1 page every 2 weeks - but as of right now, I’m still working on the script, getting it from “this is what happens” to “this is what you draw”.

I know most webcomics upload at least 1 page per week, but I really do not have the time right now! I’m sorry if that’s inconvenient, but if it makes it easier, you can follow me and get updated that way! :D

(I will be uploading other art/answered asks in the meantime; I’m talking about actual pages) 2: QUALITY! I’ve never done a webcomic before, so I’m currently experimenting with the DPI/types of uploads I need to use to get YOU something readable and crisp! Ideally, I’ll be drawing the comic pages on one long canvas and cutting them up so that Tumblr doesn’t eat the quality. On that note, I’m uploading UNCUT versions onto FURAFFINITY! 3: RATINGS/WARNINGS!

Planetkiller ranges in maturity from page to page, but the HIGHEST it gets is probably “Teen”. The language of Planetkiller is incredibly frank and cursing is not censored.

Basically: Planetkiller has language, occasional nonsexual nudity, occasional blood/gore, and some marijuana/alcohol - but things such as sex/sexual nudity and non-medicinal drugs are not explicitly shown. If they “show up” at all, it will be through dialogue only. 

THIS IS A COMIC ABOUT A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION CALLED THE “PLANETKILLER”, so that should kinda set the tone for you!

3a: WHAT ABOUT THE TUMBLR PURGE?

I’ve had problems with Tumblr flagging my art before, even when there was no nudity anywhere to be found (or ANYTHING you could consider NSFW??). If my art gets flagged I will fight the verdict as far as I can - but if I can’t get it back up, I’ll announce that, and I’ll give y’all a link to the Furaffinity page. Only so much I can do in that case, I’m afraid!

(TM) I hope y’all are enjoying so far because THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I SAW THE WORDS “UPLOAD ERROR” are forever gonna be etched into my brain.
