Today I’m celebrating my first year since I got my last dance into Opens!

And yesterday I made one of my dreams come true - I danced in the Parade of champions! From the 3rd place which was awarded me probably by a mistake in results, but hell yeah, I was there! And also - noone take away from me the first place for slip jig I got from Bernadette Flynn!

What an amazing day - after the disappointment of getting injured a few weeks before Worlds I won my first feis back today and finally got to wear my new dress 😊

After not feising since Worlds and finally starting to get back to my old dancing, happy to say that I placed 8th today in such a tough competition! Pretty consistent marks too - 6th, 7th and 12th (which wasn’t as consistent but I’ll take it!) Congrats to everyone who danced, you were all amazing! And a huge thank you to Megan Aprill for letting me borrow my old dress! 🏆🍀 Still haven’t decided if I’ll dance next week though… don’t know what to do!! 😱😱

Shawn’s hard work has been paying off! He got 1st at Celtic Fling and 7th (out of 54) at Heritage. Elaina has been demolishing and got two back to back wins. Meanwhile I can legally drink and I’ve been taking full advantage of that this weekend. Back on track tomorrow and roll on NANS 2016 for these two!!
