Greetings, everyone! Colress, here! It’s been quite a long time, hasn’t it? My apologies for being away. As you can imagine, my research has been quite hectic. For a time, I traveled to distant Kalos to continue learning more on how to bring out the full potential of Pokemon. I was drawn to the region because of the stories of Mega Evolution, which originated in Kalos.
There I was able to reacquaint myself with Professor Sycamore. As some of you may remember me mentioning in regards to my time before Team Plasma, I briefly worked with Professor Rowan as an assistant during my field studies in Sinnoh. I had met Augustine Sycamore back then, though we spoke little at the time. He was also a student of Professor Rowan’s back then.
After meeting with him in Kalos and catching up, Professor Sycamore showed me some of his findings regarding Mega Evolution, and even provided me with a Key Stone and a Metagrossite for my own Metagross!
Now my research takes me to the beautiful Alola region, where they’ve mastered the strength of Z Power. Me and my Pokemon have been enjoying ourselves as we’ve battled other trainers at the Battle Tree. I’ve already learned quite a bit here, but in my efforts to discover more I’ve decided to finally create my own research institute. I have decided to stay in Alola for a while, so I thought it fitting to set up some headquarters here. Heahea City seemed an ideal location, given it’s size, amenities, and access to the ferry terminals to the other islands. Also, as luck would have it, two of Professor Sycamore’s aides have also come to Alola to do field research. After speaking with them and Professor Sycamore, we have all agreed to cooperate our efforts and report our own findings to each other. I look forward to finding out new ways to help achieve the potential of Pokemon to their fullest extent by working together with us humans! Please feel free to join me on this ongoing quest for science and Pokemon!
