idk about the situation in other countries regarding Bandai Star Wars models (note: can’t be sold outside Japan), in my country there’s still a healthy supply of them, just a bit pricier than before. I’ve checked a few eBay sellers too, and found some that sell these models at sensible price. I hope all is well, because I love and really recommend these models. They aren’t that difficult to build, highly-detailed, great plastic quality, and aren’t as expensive as other Star Wars figures on the market.
I sculpted a removable blown-in-the-wind cape for Boba so that he looks more majestic :-) I painted the whole armor in chrome first, then sprayed color over it. And I swear by any god, painting colors over a layer of chrome is sooo tricky to get correct. The result was a candy-like color even though I used flat Tamiya paints! I sprayed and resprayed again and again (with few matte coat in-between) to make the color duller. The model is far better now, though still suffer from over-glossy under my camera light.
This is the 1:12 Boba Fett from Bandai. I repainted and modified the model from ESB into RoTJ version of Boba, because it’s more colorful and fun this way :-)
My first model in 2016, the most notorious bounty hunter in the galaxy, Boba Fett!
1/20 Seapig open hatch. Built and photographed by plastikal
1/20 Seapig by Wave. It’s good to build another Ma.K model :-)
1/20 S.A.F.S Seapig. Painted with MiG Grey, Tamiya Royal Light Gray, Tamiya Black, Mr.Hobby Off-White acrylics and some oil washes.
The first time I do model on 1/24 scale. I kinda love it, a bit bigger than 1/35 AFV I usually build and just a little bit smaller than Ma.K usual 1/20 scale. I would surely do another 1/24 in the future :-D
A fun project I did for the last 3 week, a post-apocalyptic vehicle! The base kit is Fujimi 1/24 Toyota Corolla Levin, with additional stuff from other kit parts and scratch built myself. Sorry for the potato quality of the image, I used my phone for these photos.
1/12 Speeder Bike. I love this! Hint: HLJ.com (and I guess other Japanese kit stores) would stop selling Bandai Star Wars kits outside Asia by September 20th. http://hlj.com/2015-bandai-star-wars-kits-campaign Since Japan is less than half a day away from my country, I guess I’m safe. But you guys on US & Europe, better grab yours now. Bad news for those who’ve waited for this or you know, this.
The trooper is unpainted, only dirtied up a bit with Tamiya Desert Yellow and some oil paint. The paint was flicked with flat brush to create a scattered effect.
The bike was painted with Tamiya Gun Metal, Rubber Black and Linoleum Deck Brown. Weathered with soft pastel and AK Rust Effect

Some outdoor shots of 1/20 Friedrich. Natural light is the best lighting, y’know.
1/20 Friedrich, in the style of Gustav. Heavily weathered and modified on the rear side :-)
S.A.F.S Snake Eye painted with Mig Ammo Yellow Grey and Light Green Khaki. The red was Gundam Marker Red.
