A Maschingen Krieger (Ma.K) battletank model kit fully assembled and painted.
I love this series of models based on the Japanese science fiction series SF3D, later retitled Maschingen Krieger Zb V3000. The models were inspired by military equipment from both World Wars, as well as NASA's space program, Star Wars, Blade Runner, and The Road Warrior.
The series is set in the far future, and details the war between colonists who are trying to repopulate the Earth after a devastating nuclear war, and the fascist military government that has been established.
I love the retro-future, lived-in look of this model line. I've tried my hand at few times with some of the smaller models in the line, but was never satisfied with the end results. I would love to take a crack at them again, but I these fellas ain't cheap, and I have several other models still in their boxes waiting for me to get off my lazy butt (or off Tumblr) and build them.
