“Nanako-chan had me sit down and watch Detective Loveline with her when I was watching her last. Dojima was on a case and asked if I could look after her for the day. It was an interesting cartoon, it’s not often you see a female lead in shows like these, let alone one who’s a detective.”

“I wish I had more role models like what Nanako sees in Detective Loveline when I was growing up. It’s a pleasant thought knowing that even if slowly, the world is beginning to change.”

I wasn’t able to reconnect with any old ones…” Not that he cared that much about them or his old school. It’s clear that most of them had forgotten about him because he was always quiet and too focused on his studies to care about socializing, even though his parents urged him to make friends.
He shouldn’t think about it too much right now. Yu placed a hand in his pocket casually and looked around as well. “Hm… we could walk around Samegawa, then drop by Junes if you’re feeling hungry.” He suggested. The river always calmed him down when he was feeling stressed or while he was fishing to feed some cats, and Nanako as well due to Dojima’s absence.
“Samegawa sounds lovely, Senpai.”
The river would look lovely around this time of year, with the summer breeze rushing alongside the water and the sunlight sparkling as it reflected off the flow of the current.
Reminds Naoto of when she and Yu were starting to actually get to know each other. Most of the days in late October spent by the benches just past the river bank, chasing some mysterious phantom thief that had taken her contraptions. Even when the truth was revealed to be a set-up, she doesn’t regret relenting to Yu’s insistence to be involved in the case.
“It would be just like last year, I wonder what new memories we’ll make this time... though I doubt we’ll run into any of my Grandfather’s attempts to mess with me this time,” she says with a slight smile.

4. what made you choose this muse?
A few reasons, actually! One, Naoto is relatable! I too am a socially awkward nerd who likes books and kid shows more than I should at my age, and I am also not the best at making friends.
Two: I love crime thrillers. Mysteries are some of the most fun things to write, from the hero or villain's perspective, and writing Naoto's deductions is also somewhat trying to solve the mystery myself, which is why I throw many offhanded thoughts I have into her reasoning.
Three: Naoto is my favorite P4 character! She's just a delight, she's got my favorite dungeon, shadow, boss design, so that's why I chose her as my muse.

“Good afternoon, Naoto-kun. I’ve been well, thank you. How are you?” He asked with a smile as he approached her. He just got to Inaba and was glad to finally be where his heart belonged. Tokyo was too noisy for him, not to mention that his mother was driving him insane again with her demands of becoming whatever she wanted, and not letting him fulfill his dreams. So, after an argument, he decided to move out here with his uncle and Nanako for the time being.
Regardless, his plan for today was quite simple. “Actually, I already visited Yosuke a while ago. I’m here to spend time with you if you’re free. I can pay for anything we buy along the way. I’ve missed Inaba and all of you dearly.”
“By all means, Senpai. I’m free for the rest of the day, and would greatly enjoy catching up with you,” Naoto replies with a small smile. She tucks the book into her trench coat and adjusts the collar.
“Work has been keeping me busy outside of school, though I am keeping up with my studies well enough. It’s not often I get the day off like this, and spending it with you appears to be the best option,” she adds. Tipping her cap to look up at him a bit better, she takes a few steps away from the store and looks around the shopping district for a suitable venue.
“Is there anywhere you’d like to go?”
