Ok since I messed up pretty bad with my last Blorbo ask I'll do a better job this time
Saw @the-leviathans-abyss (OOC) doing the 'what ur oc thinks is wrong with them vs. what is actually wrong with them' so I'm gonna take a shot at it.

I know I already expanded on this with oraclerp, but:
What Oracle thinks is wrong with him: Feeling at times too 'weak' or emotional for an AI that controls the entire internet, unable to digitally resurrect Dr.Stevens
What's ACTUALLY wrong with him: (this part gets v headcannony) Unable to let go of his idea of perfection (which in turn led to Sherub's turn to villainy) unable to properly deal with his feelings ESPECIALLY his grief with Dr.Stevens (which in a way also led to Sherub's turn to villainy), feeling like only if he is in total control that all will be alright (although he was willing to put his feelings aside during Sherub's takeover since he saw no other option)
***
What Lanver thinks is wrong with him: too much of a scardey-cat, not being 'cool enough' for his peers
What's ACTUALLY is wrong with him: Being WAY too naive to just how evil his dad is (even though their relationship is wholesome) and thus sometimes pushing through experiences that feel uncomfortable to please his dad, being the APPROPRIATE amount of scaredy-cat when it comes to Eye-related stuff but again, assumes he's in the wrong bc everyone else sees no problem, right?
Also just not realising the sheer gravity of the conflict between The Eye and The Forward Few or the sacrifices to be made to be part of the former. Going through the maze was just an interesting time. Also, wants everyone to get along even when that's barely feasible (like Oracle and Prophet).

What Sherub thinks is wrong with her: Being a 'failed' experiment of Oracle, her unnatural powers (they're a double-edged sword), being imperfect
What's ACTUALLY wrong with her: Having an inferiority-superiority complex, believing that she has to be in total control for all to be alright, projecting her insecurities onto others and thus making herself think no one likes her, acting morally higher purely on the basis that she's Oracle's Digital Angel even though she crosses many moral lines, assuming the ends justify the means, assuming that being imperfect means being unloveable.
