WermEffect
I present Mass Effect Worm (wip)
(alt- A banded fluffy Worm in the N7 colors black, white, and red from the game Mass Effect lays on a play mat. A keyboard sits in the background. Nice framing Worm Monger.) I was asked to give this one "Be Not Afraid" eye vibes, so I'm thinking on THAT.
Whoa! So New and unexpected? A Craft Challenge!
A clip art poster with a vanilla background. Easter eggs, a day late, decorate the left and upper portions of the poster proclaiming a "CRAAAAFT CHALLENGE!" in blue bubble letters. Beneath it in purple a following *bonus* challenge "SHOW ME!"
Two framed pictures, each depicting a Sea Bunny Worm on various Adventures around the room/poster.
That's right, I would love YOUR Worm's "Bunny Worm Adventure!" (My Sea Bunny Worm met some other hand craft friends that loved ones have made me)
Worm Monger here with today's Brain Worm! Today simple Worm Monger, yes, I. Today I realized that I Could Have played a different Wormsgame with you all yesterday!
Cursed Worm Monger forgot the rabbits... Worm Rabbits to be precise. Perhaps you know of the one I mean. Yes? Some of you may know the Sea Bunny?
Now that your brain pictures have been sufficiently shaken like that of a major name brand I present! Them!
Three images of the same Worm follow. The Worm in question is black and white. Black "ears" stand taller than the rest of the Worm's fur. In the first two photos the Worm is atop the source yarn it came from.
In the first photo, we see only the Worm's fluffy bottom. The Worm is mostly white with only small black spots.
In the second it is evident that the Worm's "ears" match its body spots. A few larger freckles also mark the Worm's face.
The final photo in the set features Sea Bunny Worm (name pending?) posing on a colorful game mat. This Worm is SO fluffy.
Friends, I give you the source yarn for the Worm I've made today.
A small heap of white and black yarn. A few glitter pastel strands stick out of the otherwise monochrome pile. A green moustached snoot perks into the top frame.
It's Mira!
Curled happily in her Tube, Mira inspects the scene. Her clear eyed deductive guess is in no way shaped by the fact that she can See the finished friend and that this was made After the fact. Patience Wormers, our new friend will be revealed soon and may even remind you of an animal you've heard of Out In The World!
It's Bombur!
I just wanted to send some photos since the stream really doesn't do him justice, but Bombur is looking lovely! (His tiny head is so dear to me) Also sorry for photo quality I'll figure out something better as we go!
Dear Bombur is on the scene, held aloft by his braided top knot, his long beard drags along the ground. His fluffy cheekers are barely contained in rounded gold clips.
Bombur faces the camera, his blue beard tie and golden clasp prominent in the foreground. Behind his fluffy small head is the fluff that makes up Bombur's ponderous body.
A moment of appreciation for Bombur's Booty. Our first Worm with a Tail! His Tail tie matches the same used for Bombur's braided beard and top knot.
A shot similar to the one previous to Bombur's booty. This time focused on Bombur's big ol' fluffy self. Between the two pictures Bombur's Banded Body Boldly Blooms in Bands of yellow, blue, purple, and white. Thank you for joining us for the stream tonight! It was a pleasure to meet Bombur with you all! I hope to play again soon! In the mean time I will work on some more Worms Game Materials. Happy Easter and Night Night from Worm Monger.

I don't have a time because My Insomnia happened last night and I don't want to promise a time, but hopefully? Around 4 or 5 or an 1-3 hours?
Celebrate Egg with Worms if you want to?
Alas and alack my friend, said Reysies, after the house lion Elvis came upon our Werm not yet two days old.
NOW! For the Unhidden Hidden Lore!
Well, Worm Monger is Very Pleased to Inform You that this is a way that Worms reproduce
Simply slide off some excess worm fur and reknot. There WILL be a bit of fur missing, but that can be very easily filled back And now!
You have TWO worms! Congratulations on your Bounty and perhaps the smaller worm would be better for the rougher house lions
What Core type did you use for your worm? This is valuaBLE Worm Husbandry information.
A green and blue wyrm is curled protectively around a blue sticky note, and Micro-worm. The note reads, "Ways to play Worms: Whoa! Worm Monger Approved! followed by a star and a magenta ant stamp. Beneath it entry level activities to get to know your worm are scrawled. "Worm Tales Comics" is followed by a crude three panel comic of indescribable meaning. "Neat Rock," "Wow, a Flower", and "Adventure Worm!" are the most straight forward. In the lower left corner is scribbled "Fishing?" The bottom of the note is taken up by a rough sketch of Worm Monger and Micro-worm playing Sea Monster.
The scene focuses back on the larger banded wyrm. The larger worm has clear eyes and fluffy cheeks. This wyrm is a big help to the small and micro sized worms! This wyrm appears to be taking a nap while the other two enjoy their game.
This is Micro-worm, a worm made from the scraps of the scraps used to make the Regular Worms. Micro worm often looks like a fish and has tinsel in it's fur. The Worm Monger will try to get a better picture of that next time. (alt text) Blue, grey, and white pebbles (stone beads) form a fake lake in the foreground. Atop the pile rests Micro-worm. Micro-worm is a whopping approximately 1.0" or 2 cm.
Micro-worm is positioned before the backdrop of a blue sticky note. It appears Micro-worm is an angler fish caught on The Worm Monger's line!
Worm Monger Challenge- Now that you have access to the Knowledge, and a couple ideas maybe you will consider making a worm of your very own! Before Wormsmithing can be done some moving in is needed. I appreciate your patience and I hope to hear about your adventures soon! Please feel free to ask me questions and I will get back to you when I, Worm Monger, am able to come play Worms. You are, of course, welcome to play Worms without me.
Please practice good internet safety when playing Worms when giving Worms updates. Source: I almost took a picture of my whole address before I decided to make this dumb little scene.
A light green sticky note, still peppered in layer boxes bearing the header "MORE REASONS FOR PLAYING WORMS"
"Introvert 'pet to stress pet" on the go!" "Worm Adventures offer new perspective" "Joanne's is going out of business and yarn is on sale." "Family Messenger Worm" bulleted beneath this particular header is "A friend for hard conversations" "Practice writing letters and worm will draw attention!" "It's no owl, but it (probably) won't bite you!"
Scribbled to the side of this marginally more organized sticky note are the phrases "Connection in an isolating age," and "The Love Goes In The WORM"
Pictured left on a pink sticky note:
Life is very stress and money and ever mounting worry for more and more people.
Worm costs only time. And yarn scraps.
Please remember all worms are attached to a human person. If you want to play worms please remember
Don’t be a dink.
No Nazis.
I hope that you will join me in a bit of silliness. Always try to use One Whole Brain cell in regard to safety! (Mileage may Vary)
Ask how to become a Wormsmith. Odd.
To the right of the sticky note is a dated meme featuring a blue worm on a string.
How to Play "Worms"
A lilac sticky note reads:
How to Play Worms: Step 1. Obtain "Worm" Step 2 Take Worm on adventure. Step 3 Document the adventure in some way.
*Worms need not be corporeal. Let me SEE the worms! (The Worm Monger would like to note that anyone that would like to keep their worm's life private is still very welcome to play, but I do LOVE them and accept memes)
Worms can be a game for family or whole community! The possibilities are endless.
Worms is for everyone!*
And end note: Please, never take worm too seriously.
Worm Monger Why Worms? You 100% most definitely asked!
alt-text- A yellow sticky note cluttered with words and phrases. Different texts, some in different fonts are scattered across the paper. Nested in a purple box the phrase highest upper left reads "the inevitable lure of fiber crafts" continuing from left to right they continue. "low risk adventure" "More worms = more worms to see" Central bolded is header "Benefit of Worms." "CHEAP" "Very Texture" "It's worm time babey" "Store bought is fine" "Fun" "Apartment/Dorm Friendly!" "Hidden Lore" Low and central to the note in the largest font it just reads, "WORM." "Timeless" "try something new" "learn patience"Whether intentional or incidental a rotate text icon sits just below the previous phrase. It resembles a loading wheel. "mutable" "No dander!" Rather prolifically "you get a worm!" and in a font rather too small to read is squished "Worm purity not guaranteed."
A temporary mention that Worm Monger will be back to add comment alt text to images. Worm Monger apologizes for the delay.
