Trevor Hill and Jesse Hett present Hand to Mouth: a monthly, topic-based comedy show where each edition explores a specific social, cultural or political issue. One show, one topic.

I think it was something to do with your favorite Audioslave song?
Also featuring The Mouth Off, where comics Walker Glenn and Mikey Walz will debate the benefits and pitfalls of Facebook vs. Face Tattoos.
In teaming with SF Sketchfest, Hand to Mouth will be taking place on Friday, 1/15 for a special 8:00pm show at Brava Studio Theater.

MISERY INDEX Monday, November 2nd @ 9:00pm The Rite Spot (2099 Folsom @ 17th) 3 blocks from 16th & Mission BART NO COVER! www.miseryindexcomedy.com
Let’s face it. Things aren’t going great: a stagnant economy, a tough job market, never ending wars, exorbitant rent prices, dysfunctional relationships, mental illness, addiction, poverty, corruption, STDs, Donald Trump. While there isn’t a cure for all of life’s problems, there is a tonic… MISERY INDEX is a free, monthly show that brings together some of the most pessimistic, neurotic & dysfunctional individuals on the face of the planet: stand-up comedians. Take the edge off with cheap drinks and free laughs as these choleric comics direct their disdain towards all of society’s growing ills.
November’s lineup features maladjusted mirth makers:
Nate Follen (SF Sketchfest attendee) Allison Mick (Cynic Cave) Jake Adams (The Todd Glass Show) Drew Harmon (San Francisco Comedy Competition) George Chen (HBO’s Looking) Dash Kwiatkowski (Cobb’s) headliner David Gborie (Vice)
and host
Jane Harrison
The Rite Spot is a cozy Mission dive that features local bands, comedians and performers. A rare San Francisco luxury set in an unpretentious atmosphere featuring Italian-American food, a full bar and an excellent wine list. “Aside from a little low conversation and the occasional clink of a glass, people are there to listen, and what they’re listening to is top-notch.” -SF Weekly

This month Hand to Mouth is proud to introduce its newest co-producer: the inimitable Jesse Hett! He’s one of the best writers and performers in the Bay Area, as well as an all-around “decent human being”. We couldn’t be happier to add him and his talents to the show.
Trevor Hill (and now Jesse) present Hand to Mouth: a monthly, topic-based comedy show where each edition explores a specific social, cultural or political issue. One show, one topic.
March’s Topic: History!
On Friday 3/20, comedians Shanti Charan (SF Punch Line, Cobb’s), Irene Tu (SF Sketchfest), Drew Harmon (SF Punch Line) and Brandon Garner (Redwood Comedy Fest) will join Trevor & Jesse on a historical (and/or hysterical? whaaaat?) tour of important events from bygone times, yesteryear and the olden days. They’ll be straight up making fun of Ming dynasties, dissin’ the Dark Ages, & clownin’ on Classical Antiquity. The Protestant Reformation is about to get seriously pwned.
Also featuring The Mouth Off, where comics Andrew Holmgren and Ben Kolina will debate which historic drunk would be funner to party with: Boris Yeltsin or Babe Ruth?
