Dialogue:

Akechi: Ah, I understand what's happening here. Nendo's ability to disable Saiki's powers is keeping him from using his super-strength. Without it, Nendo is much stronger than him and is able to keep Saiki stuck. Saiki likely didn't mean to cuddle Nendo, or at least didn't anticipate him being such a heavy sleeper. He can't use his telepathy to tell us to shut up and stop laughing at him.

Toritsuka: WHAT?! Why doesn't he ever cuddle with me like that? :(

no particular order, just based on the order of my bookmarks.

for reference i am sooo picky, i have read over 6000 fics according to ao3, and i've read 700 since the beginning of the year. i only have 53 bookmarks in total... but here are some bookmarked fics i read this year!!!

this year i got into some random shit, blah blah blah, honestly most of these are not faulkner levels of literature doing monuments for the english language but they were good and make me feel a sort of way, so, here you go

Hawks Lays an Egg by ButterflyApocalypse / dabihawks T. never in my entire Life 18 Years have i ever enjoyed mpreg except this fic, because he isnt even pregnant he just has this egg. it's such a good funny fic. i was asking myself why i had it bookmarked from like four years ago earlier this year so i reread it and i was like Yeah ok it deserves the bookmark. SOOO funny and ridiculous. crackiest fic.

Bitva Gruppa by VoidVesper / a clockwork orange X fight club, alex delarge X tyler durden E. its straight up a horrible plot, AKA CHILD GETS ASSAULTED. warning for underage and assault. it's not a morally good fic (clockwork orange is intentionally a morally wrong book). but holy shit the writing is great. like it reads like it's anthony burgess. just really good. probably one of the only fics here where i straight up bookmarked only because of the writing style

The funny thing about Akechi and Todoroki sharing a voice actor is that they are complete opposites in many different ways, but one thing they have in common is that I think both would be the type to leave their entire life story in the comment section of a music video on YouTube.

thinking about toritsuka and his family bc i have so many things to say about it. we know that he has father but he seems to be more concerned about his temple things rather than his son. and it seems like he needs toritsuka just as another person to work in the temple or smth else. also uhh

this panel makes me think a lot especially that "your father told us to be strict with you". and we know nothing about his mother and i hc that she's dead but idk idk.

so toritsuka was born and raised in the temple and it looks like he had a very strict upbringing and to my mind this made him what he is now. like all his interest in porn and other seems more as a some kind of protest or an effort to feel the freedom he has never had before. i suppose that in reality he may be not that interested in this, it's just something that was forbidden and now he has access to it.

he doesn't know how to normally behave in society, apparently he wasn't taught this. in my view he's not a bad person, he just had this... unusual childhood and that's why he formed all his stupid habits and interests. ofc that doesn't justify some of his actions but still i love him sm and i don't see him as a bad person at all

Yumehara and Akechi do NOT get off to a good start in canon. They are not hanging out, they do not care about each other except as generally being part of Saiki's friend group.

However, I believe that once Yumehara accidentally introduces Akechi to the world of yaoi that they will start interacting exclusively for the purposes of yaoi roleplay and end up eventually becoming very good friends because of it.

(and probably everyone in pk saw at least once how saiki uses him as a punchbag)

but they don't know that they're THAT close

they would be even more confused if they saw Saiki smiling at him (he is smiling because Rei has to fast for 3 days)
