i usually don’t make them, just edit them from gif hunts. when i do make them i use quicktime player to screen record. you’re going to have to be more specific on what video you are looking for, fam.

guys, if you make rp resources (gifs, gif icons, static icons, whatever): it is your job not to whitewash them. i don’t give a shit if you’re just cropping the gif and adding a border. do not used whitewashed gifs. it’s not hard; either forgo them all together or fix the coloring. it’s pretty easy to do, just use selective coloring and boost the colors in the “white” and “neutral” settings, or use a layer of levels and adjust them until it looks better. by putting out whitewashed gifs or icons, you’re giving people the chance to use the excuse that “oh, all their resources are whitewashed so i have no choice but to use them”. if you can’t handle the responsibility of making sure that poc fcs are done the justice they deserve, then maybe you shouldn’t be making resources.
