how do you make your sims photo look better quality wise than the bog standard screenshots?
Hello loved one. I have recently had a few asks like this, and I apologize for not answering them sooner, I've just been so busy! So here are a few tips for some good quality photos.
1.CC is your best friend. CC is custom content that you can add into the game. Most is free, here are some good CC creators you may want to look at.

2. Choose the right poses. Poses are the skeleton of a good picture, if you choose a bad pose, often ones that are really cheesy, or poorly made, then a bad picture will surface. Some good poses are here
3. Invest in a good photo editing software. Some people can't afford the cost of Photoshop, although if you want a really good turnout but can't break the bank, some free alternatives are here-

Photoshop Express(a more basic and free version of Photoshop)
4. The actual Editing. Look here, This photo is what I began with, it's okay, but dull and boring and dark.
Now look at this one! A lot more vibrant and bright, and I define her features with the sharpening tool
5.HQ Mod. You can get these at one of two sites(remember to set your rendering and detail settings to the highest level possible)

Simblr Secret Santa again! I'm worrying about how to go about making your base Sim; I've never made a base before. Is there anything specific about them you want 'set in stone'? Gender? Vanilla or berry? CC or no?

Secret Santa again. When it comes to making Sims 3 stuff, making Sims is my comfort zone. But I can try my hand at making some actual CC - like, maybe some makeup or eye designs, or even a hair retexture - if you'd prefer something along that vein. What's your preference?
