The situation with the enhypen fan, Mina, is so so frustrating and disheartening.

She was just a fan. Like ALL of you. Imagine how exciting that moment must've been, to meet your bias at a concert and give them flowers, only for that moment to be ruined and have so much misinformation spread about you on the internet, with so many harsh comments coming your way.

The lone fact that there wasn't even any videos supporting the claims made about her is enough to tell anybody that this situation wasn't what people made it out to be. If you're going to attack a woman going to a concert that supposedly, without ANY public videos of the situation at a US concert that at least over 190 THOUSAND people attended, threw a tantrum because the member that picked up the sunflowers she bought wasn't her bias, then I'm absolutely positive you also could've taken that time to think about your words, and think about how a single action of yours on the internet (that I'm sure you do everday) can affect someone's whole world so deeply. Just because you're hiding behind a screen doesn't mean it'll affect them any less.

She had already made an apology, admitting that she had created a false sense of closeness to the idols as a result of her having attended many fan signs before. This issue should've been done here, and everyone should've moved on by then; she already took accountability for her actions, something that many of your idols can't even do.

Mina was a young woman, her whole life ahead of her, only for that to be taken away from her because a bunch of lifeless kpop stans thought her apology wasn't "convincing enough", and continued harrassing her over such a minor situation. I hope her family can get over this hard time eventually, and be able to live their lives normally and happily after all this, I wish them all the best, from the bottom of my heart. I send them all my condolences.

But now, i hope that not only engenes, but all kpop stans realise that petty twitter arguments do affect people's well-beings. I hope everyone can take the time to reflect on what happened and their own actions, and try to better yourselves. Kpop is just music with korean lyrics. It is not something to lose your morals over and drive a young woman to commit suicide on live.

While my days of being an engene are long over, I truly hope this fandom can one day be the peaceful fandom it once was. I hope we can all one day realise that everyone is human and shouldn't go through what mina or any cyberbullying victims went through.

I would like to end this off by saying that if you're struggling with ANYTHING, no matter how "minor" it may seem, please talk to somebody. Your issues are important and completely valid, and I'm sure there are so many people out there who are more than happy to listen to you. You are not alone in this world. 🤍
