Last month I did Day out with Thomas with my mom and kiddo. ScareBAB absolutely did not want to be left out so he came along with. He had more fun than all of us combined! It was so creepy to see Thomas' eyes and mouth move! But it was a great day and I got some nice shots.

Despite the fact that I am not deaf, mute, or blind myself, one of the most common questions I receive is how to portray characters with these disabilities in fiction.

i think you've VERY fundamentally misunderstood the point of my post tbh

men and boys first and foremost hurt themselves to avoid being perceived as their lessers (i.e. women and gay men)

they could stop. but the punishment is being perceived as one of us, and that would be just terrible. so they won't.

the Only way men will ever stop "being oppressed by the patriarchy" is if they dismantle the idea that women and gay men are inferior

once a man decides that there's nothing wrong with being seen as gay or a woman, the power of "the patriarchy" over their lives is vastly diminished

but you cannot force your oppressors to stop seeing you as a subhuman. this is something men have to choose for themselves

and they overwhelmingly do not. because when they're not playing victim/wounded bird about the circumstances of their gender, they fundamentally understand that they benefit from patriarchy far more than they are harmed by it

Sexual violence against trans women needs to end

I'd like to start a small project raising awareness of sexual assault, coercion, harassment, and other similar behaviors toward trans women and others TMA (transmisogyny affected) by people TME (transmisogyny exempt)

I find that our experiences are far too often ignored, belittled, or even used against us, and I'd like to see a future where we can speak up about what we've been through and actually be met with the support and resources we need to heal from or escape sexually coercive situations

I want to invite trans women and others TMA who feel comfortable doing so to discuss their experiences in my askbox, anonymously or not, and I will post them (unless asked not to in the body of the ask) under the tag "#transfem voices project"

Additional important info:

Risks: There is always the possibility of the tag being used to find transfems to harass, and this is something you may be vulnerable to if you choose to submit non-anonymously

Deletion info: If you submit anonymously, please note that neither you or I have any way of verifying who actually sent the ask once it's up, and as such, I have no way of verifying who you are if you reach out and ask that I delete it. As I want to ensure that no bad faith actors can silence our stories, I err on the side of not deleting them once they're up, so please do keep this in mind! Additionally, please be aware that independent archiving efforts may exist, so it would be difficult to have your submission truly removed from the internet

You know it's funny, as a trans guy myself, that you transmisogynistic fucks LOVE rapejacketing trans women all the while cis women who sexually abuse us are not nearly as called out enough by TMEs.

I would say that I don't claim you as a part of the community but that'd be a gigantic disservice to all of the trans women who have been harmed by many trans mascs to act like this isn't a significant issue within the transmasc community.

New Queer Animated Short Film just dropped on Kickstarter.

My Girlfriend Enid stars Enid, an closeted trans female scientist who is terrified of transitioning out of fear of blacklash. Using her knowledge, she builds herself an new body that she views as perfect. One without flaws and made out of what she views. It is her dream come true…..but not in the way she thinks.

However, when she finds herself in a relationship with Jamie an out and proud trans man who moonlights as the drag queen Entropy, Enid begins to realizes that she can fall in love with someone that has the flaws she hates about herself. But when the Project begins to reveal itself publicly and taking its own sentience, Enid mist decided what path her life should take.

Despite being a cis woman, this premise really intrigues me. Someone who is desperate to transition but afraid to do it so they make a different body for them and the consequences of it is very interesting and the art style really helps it.

The campaign will go on throughout the rest of the month and it includes stretch goals like an dubbed version, an documentary about the film, an anthology comic, and an short taking place after the film.

Also, there is a 15% discount of the Art Book bundle which includes an cassette tape of the extended OST and well an Art Book! EDIT: The deal has ended. But they are still many cool rewards to choose that is still available!

I really hope that this film manages to get fully funded.

So, it’s when it comes to 19 year old Viv’s 24 year old boyfriend with a 5 year age difference, kissing is traumatic. But when it comes to 34 year old Brock and 18 year old Jenna with a 16 year age difference, sex is fine.

It’s possible that she’s also based on Error, she looks a lot like a recolor of Jamille (which was Viv’s recolor of Error) between the hair style and the body type. Because Viv has very little variety outside of “curvy” body types, it’s really easy to spot one outside that. It’s not concrete, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Vivziepop’s alternate account for fan art was called bustednozz or Nozz for short. She made it specifically to do fan art for Sausage Party (2016). You can find some of her fan art on her main blog, but a lot of it was posted as Nozz instead. Receipts here show the similar typing style, art style, hand writing, and signature.  Vivziepop’s oc for Sausage Party is the candy cane in the last image, a masochistic twink that she ships with a Dr. Mengele spin off. I don’t know why somebody would want to ship their character with Dr. Mengele, a nazi scientist who experimented on human test subjects for his own sick satisfaction. Remember that when Sausage Party came out, she was 24, so she cannot claim that she was “just a stupid teenager” like in her apology post.

All of these are from when Vivzie was in animation school. Tracing for reference is fine when you’re just practicing. 

It’d be one thing if you used an example from Hazbin or Helluva Boss, some of Vivzie’s original projects, (and ones that she’s trying to get a job from) but none of these examples fall under what Vivzie was complaining about in the first place.

These are all from after her time in college, she started working on Die Young after she finished her thesis, after she got out of college. The other two came after Die Young. Tracing is not for reference when you use it without credit and in your demo reel. A demo reel is supposed to act like a general application for animation jobs. Vivzie doesn’t animate most of her own shows, she gives it to other animators to do, she doesn’t have the chance to trace on them because she isn’t doing that work on them.

Vivienne purchased numerous characters from Dollcreep: Jayjay the werewolf, Gustav, Max and Max, and Elijah. Error was not part of the purchase at any point.
