Anyway, most "guards" in this AU wield guns, but there's a couple people (*cough cough* Dante) who prefer using swords.

Most towns are lead by elected mayors, though the country used to be run under one dictatorship that was overthrown by Irene and her companions.

I'll probably be doing an explanation of Meifwas/Werewolves next post, using Nana and Logan as examples.

Can't stop thinking about western!MCD and it's making me crazy so have this Sherriff Garroth.

I'm thinking pheonixdrop (or whatever it would be called in this au) would be a small railway town, just a little place for people to stop while traveling to bigger towns.

I think i want to keep magic- but like make it more like a godly blessing if that makes sense. So like the shadow knights(Shadow Cowboys? lol) would be bandits blessed by Shad or Kiki's animal speak would be a gift from Irene.

Idk i'm just having a lot of fun thinking about it, also i can't get the idea of Zane as an uppity 'preacher man' out of my head so i might draw that next...

Anyways-

It’s just a sketch, for now, but here it is. I’m trying to contrast their designs a bit, with Aaron wearing big bulky clothes and such, and aphmau wearing tight fitting, more practical outfits. Also, I think the contrast between her markings and his scars is cool because… well, hers are dark and simple, his are light and complicated and need constant reference to be drawn consistently.

Anyways, here’s the colour pallets because I like to preplan.

So- here’s some Aaron art with his design for my MCD rewrite.

He’s not gonna be in the rewrite for a while but I like to preplan, so here he is.

So both coloured and just the line work because the line work looks really pretty on its own.

And fuck anyone who tells me to draw the second eye. I do what I want. And what I want to do is take short cuts. So Hah.

Wouldn’t have been able to do this without my trust worthy assistant.
