Review: This drink is listed at “Aloe Milk Tea” which in some ways kind of misleading...I thought it was a special kind of milk tea, but it’s just regular milk tea with aloe as an add-on. The milk tea itself is a black tea base, and it’s pretty dark, has a hint of coffee almost. The milk tea is creamy, but it could be much richer. The aloe is refreshing, but I don’t think it fits that well with the dark milk tea. It would have been much better with green milk tea.

Review: This place is seriously all about dolphins! Their whole store is decorated with a dolphin/ sea theme. It might not look like much from the outside, but it’s definitely worth the trip to come here. They have a variety of food, desserts, and drinks on their menu. It’s more of a sit down restaurant than a milk tea shop, but you can definitely get things to-go. I went in during lunch and it was almost full house, and it’s a great hangout place with plenty of tables. We got the Dolphin Bay Milk Tea w/ pearls and Milk Tea w/ aloe. We also tried their dessert and some snacks, and we think this place great for all kinds of food they offer!

Bonus Review:

Shaved Ice- for $10 it might seem expensive, but it is so worth it. It is MASSIVE. you can feed 4 or even more with this bowl. I will for sure come back for this. -C

Fried Chicken- This was okay. The chicken was a bit dry, so unless you really want fried chicken, you can get better snacks here. -C

Fried Calamari- The only complain is I wish this was a better portion, but the calamari was really good, nicely seasoned and fried. -C

Review: Since it was their signature drink, I decided to try it. The milk tea is Jasmine green tea base, and it is sweetened with honey. It is a very good combination, but It wish it was creamier. Although refreshing, I wish the drink was not as light. The drink is also not too sweet, which is a big plus, because honey can be hard to control the sweetness. The pearls are a bit on the soft side, but still good. I would recommend this drink.

Review: This place is on Kearny St. and Geary Blvd. It is walking distance from Montgomery bart station. The interior is very unique and different from other milk tea places. It has a tea bar for tea testing in the back of the store. When you walk into this place, you can smell the tea inside the store. They have various kind of teas for you to pick. They can also make the tea for your own preference. If you think that your cup of tea doesn’t taste good, you can ask the barista to fix your drink. There are lots of seats available inside the store, which is great for hangout. However, there are few parking spot in front of the store, so we don’t recommend driving here. Overall, I really like this place because it is very chill place to hang out with friends. We ordered Jasmine Green Milk Tea w/ pearls, and Mango Green Tea w/ pearl. The drink reviews had polarizing feedback, and we will be back to try more drinks from this place for a more accurate overall review.

Review: This drink is my least favorite from this place. It tasted like water to me. Don’t get me wrong, it was probably a wrong decision that I ordered it less sweet. I thought that the mango taste would be sour, but it wasn’t. This drink would have been better if I had ordered it 50% sweetness. The honey boba was very good, but it didn’t add any sweetness to this drink at all. I gave this drink 1 because I didn’t taste any mango taste and I was very disappointed. I tried to mix it up, but it didn’t help at all. I wonder if they use syrup for their mango taste, so next time I would try it with 100% sweetness.

Review: This is the best jasmine green milk tea ever! I highly recommend this drink to anyone who comes here for the first time. It had a strong jasmine taste. The light jasmine taste stayed in my mount until the last sip. If you are the fan of jasmine green milk tea from Cafe Lattea in Cupertio, you have to try this drink. I love the pearls, it is very soft, sweet, and chewy. This drink deserves to get 5 cups rating from me. I will come back to order this drink again and again!

Review: This store is located near Allston, inside the food court of Super 88. There’s seats that is inside the food court, but it’s not an ideal place to hangout. Some might find it dirty or too loud; however, it does make it a good place to grab milk tea when you also want some food. We ordered the Grape Slush w/ pearls and Milk Green Tea w/ pearls. Both drinks were average, but the “shop” itself could use a little work. Another down side is they only accept cash, though there is an ATM near by. The price is more expensive, especially their cup size is also smaller than other places.

Review: I was surprised that they made this drink to order (thought it would be pre-made). The milk tea itself is light, which is great for a milk green tea, however I think I taste a really subtle jasmine taste. I was expecting more plain green tea, since jasmine was another option on the menu.The pearls are cooked well, and it’s ore on the chewy side (which I actually prefer). I would say this drink as a whole is average.

Review: The slushy taste like those artificial again grape juices, which isn’t necessary a bad thing, and it’s actually what I was expecting to get from the place too. The slushy melted really quickly, even in the cold, and this might be because it is more watered down than something like smoothies. The drink itself was very sweet at regular, and I’m not too sure if they can adjust sweetness for their drinks. The pearls are cooked really well, but not sweet on the inside. The price is on the higher end, and overall this is an average drink.

Reviews: This place is quite new and is located in a plaza. Their store is spacious with lost of table and clean. During this visit, there were not many people. The service was friendly and they also have wide range of menu. This visit we got the Hojicha Milk Tea w/honey boba and their popular Taro Milk Tea w/egg pudding. To our surprise, their drinks ranged above average. It might be because the area or the plaza is very new, and emptiness of the store make this place not well known. However, take it from our review, you should give this place a try!

Reviews: Because not a lot of pmt has Hojicha Tea, I gave it a try. It didn’t disappoint. They have concentrated hojicha flavor, to me it tasted pretty authentic. Their tea is definitely strong and high quality. The consistency is pretty good for a milk tea, it can be a little creamier. However, their honey pearls is overcooked and not consistent. That’s probably the only downside of this drink. Overall, I would get it again with different topping next time.

Reviews: This is their most popular and recommended drink. I was hesitant to get it in the beginning because they use powder for their milk tea. However, I gave it a go because they even use Taro as their store name, so it should count as something right? I was so confused when I got this drink, because as you can see form the photo, the bottom (what I initially thought was my egg pudding) turns out to be very sticky, and apparently it's real taro paste! It was definitely a surprise, and a good one. It’s very rich in taro flavor. The real taro extract gave this drink creamier consistency. I loved it! The only thing, perhaps, it gets too sweet once you’re almost done with it. But overall, definitely worth making its name as the store name!

Review: This is not our first time at Kung Fu Tea, and this time the visit was more pleasant than the last. The shop itself has a couple of tables for seating, which can be good for a quick conversation. The place do get crowded over the weekends by students in the area. The price is on the high side, and their service isn’t so great either. They get almost every other order wrong, and this can be simply solved by just repeating back the order. We originally ordered taro milk tea but ended up getting the Kung Fu Milk Tea w/ pearls. The Yogurt Green Tea w/ pearls was ordered to be half sweet, but it never happened. At first we thought it was just us, but turns out everyone sitting next to us had their drink messed up one way or another. I think people just didn’t bother telling them. The drinks were on the average side, and the service of this place dragged the ratings down.

Review: I was pleasantly surprised at this drink, because it’s one of the best yogurt tea drinks I had in America. The amount of yogurt and tea balance in this drink makes this drink refreshing for a hot day. The sour and sweet balance it prefect. The pearls were also cooked really nicely, although no sweet on the inside, it just adds that extra texture into the drink. I did order this drink less sweet, but they ended up giving me regular, which was too sweet. (more on this in the overall post).

Review: Well, another mistake on their workers. I ordered taro milk tea, not sure how they ended up hearing kung fu milk tea. Just to assure you, this drink did NOT get marked down because they gave me the wrong order. I had the kung fu milk tea before, and this time it was actually better than last time. The milk tea is like a very light blend of earl grey, which makes you wonder if it’s just your taste buds playing a trick on you. That being said, their earl grey milk tea does not taste like earl grey at all (at least from what I had before). The drink is still a bit too sweet for me at 70%, and it would have been a much better drink if there was more tea taste in it. The pearls are cooked well, and is a recommended add-on.
