Kacy is the new girl in town and it’s totally different from her previous life. She has been welcomed into a group of friends and everything seems good.
But then they start acting distant and don’t invite her to the biggest party of the year. But Kacy won’t be able to ask her friends why, because one doesn’t make it home that night.

Trust by Kylie Scott: After being held hostage during a robbery, Edie’s look on life is turned on its head. Leaving her private school and enrolling into the local public school she crosses pass with the person that saved her, John.

Juniper Lemon’s Happiness Index by Julie Israel: This explores the notion of grief and finding yourself after losing someone so close. Its Juniper’s first day back at school since the death of her older sister. To help her with what is to come she borrows her handbag for luck. However, she finds a note inside addressed to ‘You’ and dated the day her sister died. Intrigued and hopeful that she might get some answered. She starts looking for who this ‘You’ is.
But then she loses her Happiness Index, little notes on how she rates her days. It’s the only thing that kept Juniper going since her sister’s death. How can she survive now?
