I realized that coming up with a name for my brand and a logo to be pretty difficult. So many ideas, so little space for the logo and for the brand name, you want something to be true to who you are, but still stand out.
A small fun fact about me...
I love being outdoors: hiking, camping, boondocking, even glamping (glamorous camping). If itās a nice day out, youāll most likely see my personal FaceBook and Instagram flooded with photos of nature, my gear, and April (my pup).Ā
Iām also living in the PNW, Washington to be specific (Gotta love Mount Rainier).Ā
So PNW Lather Co. was pretty straightforward of what my vision is and the name made it possible to come up with a logo that fit my aesthetic: rustic chic...?
So thereās the story on how PNW Lather Co. and my logo came to be.
Introductions...
Iām Christina. Currently quarantined with my spastic 3 year old Labrador, April. I used to enjoy long walks on the beach before the State decided to shut EVERYTHING down and I love pasta, but thatās enough about me for now.
Iām not sure if the world of blogging is still as big of a craze as I remember it being, but due to being quarantined, Iāll take a jump back in.
Due to being recently furloughed from my job, I have decided on taking my chances to try something new: Soap making.
Iāve done my research. Iāve studied up on soap recipes. Iāve ordered my materials. Cleaning out the shed and furnishing it is the next step, as well as waiting for my orders to be delivered.
Iām not sure where this new adventure will take me. Trying something new is always scary, especially when that something new involves working with sodium hydroxide (lye), but Iām ready to make the best out of this unexpected time at home.
I hope everyone who reads this is doing well, staying healthy, and keeping their sanity.
