Drum roll please ... and future week is finally here. Well, sort of. After waiting for what felt like forever, our characters are about to embark on a journey called adulthood. Which, by the way, sucks. I'm sure they'll all learn that soon enough. So, as always, there are some guidelines that come with future week.
Tagging versus creating side/new blogs: It was hardly a competition. Tagging won. With this sort of win, I wouldn't even give the option of sideblogs, but ... I am. So if you really don't want to tag your future week posts, you can create a sideblog. Just make sure to send in the link before midnight. For those of you using the tagging system, please tag all future week posts as: pobmfw.

Future week starts exactly at midnight tonight. We're going by Eastern Standard Time. Not exactly sure where your timezone stands? Check HERE.
Speaking of timezones. Our characters are going to be here and there and over yonder. Make sure you know your character's timezone.
Future week will end December eighth at midnight.
There is only one person/character exempt from future week activities.
A quick reminder that Future Week will be starting this Sunday. A more detailed post on the matter will be posted on Saturday afternoon. For now, just keep in mind that at midnight, the gleeks will no longer be teenagers. They will have traveled seven years into the depths of adulthood. If you don't have any plans or plots for future week, don't be afraid to get up in some ask boxes and plot away!
Now, on to more important matters.
I think everyone here needs to take a good, hard, look at the rules once more. There are, however, a few I'd like to focus on specifically.
ACTIVITY,
Activity is important for any roleplay. It is the holiday season, however, and activity around this time usually becomes slow. Especially for those of us dealing with work, school or other things. I do ask though that everyone tries to make an effort to get on and reply to as many starters as they can and avoid dropping conversations. As always, if you know your activity isn't going to be up to par and you just need a few days, send a message to the main.
FRIENDSHIPS,
Interactions wise, I think we do pretty good. I would like to see more strong friendships being made. Don't be afraid to plot with someone or ask if another player would like to do a storyline together. While, I don't mind Santana having lots of friends or being the one people turn to, I would like other friendships to develop more as well.The beauty of AU RP. Creating things outside of canon. Just remember, you give what you get.

Most important of all: Let's respect each other. I won't tolerate anyone making someone else feel less than or uncomfortable. I'm not asking you to bite your tongue, sugar coat your opinion, nor am I asking for anyone to censor themselves. I'm simply asking everyone here have the decency to make sure your words aren't coming across undiplomatic. Whether it be about a person, another opinion, the way someone else does things or anything you do or don't agree with. You feel yourself heated, step away from the computer and take a few moments to yourself. Or come in my inbox and vent. Something to take the edge off.

BIOGRAPHY: Growing up Dani always felt like she was different from her peers. She was never able to pinpoint exactly what made her feel so different but she simply referred to it as magic. She never felt weird or out of place about her feelings, she accepted them and continued living the best life that she could. While she was busy being happy and her version of normal, her mother was constantly worrying about her daughters place in the world. She knew that there was something about her bright, bubbly daughter that was different from the other girls in her class and it worried her constantly.
When she entered high school, Dani realized what exactly was so different about her, she was a star. Her voice was heavenly and everyone who heard her sing would instantly agree. She was the head of the glee club at Crawford Country Day and everything in her life seemed to finally make sense. Her mother also found out why she was so worried about her daughter being different when Dani came out as a lesbian. After coming out Dani was promptly pulled out of school, and away from her girlfriend, because her mother felt like being around so many girls is what caused Dani to have feelings towards girls. Dani thinks the entire notion is ridiculous, she had known she loved girls since she was young and found herself crushing on the Disney princesses that graced her TV screen.
Dani is now attending McKinley and she absolutely loves the new school. It is a lot more laid back than the Prep school she once attended and people seem to be more accepting of her sexuality. The only downside to McKinley for Dani is the ridiculous social ladder that everyone seems to deem important. She never cared what anyone thought of her or her social stance but now she is craving to climb up the ladder and get the attention that she knows she can get. Her relationship with her mother is only becoming more strained as the days pass. Not only does she not approve of her sexuality, she disapproves of her plans for the future. Dani knows she belongs in New York where she can get a chance to become the star she knows she is, but her mother wants her to stay at home. Dani is counting down the days till graduation so she can pack her belongings and leave without ever looking back.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES AND INTERESTS?: Hobbies and interests, hmm? Does competitive underwater basket weaving count as a hobby? Iâm totally kidding. I love to sing and play my guitar, but thatâs more a passion than a hobby or interest. I like to dance and listen to Taylor Swift in my bedroom and I am a level super expert on that.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A VICTIM OF THE RUMOR MILL AT SCHOOL? Not at McKinley, but then again I havenât been here very long. At my old school a lot of people freaked out when I came out. I got a lot of stupid names like dyke, lesbo, lady loverâwhich is really stupid, by the wayâbut in the end I got a lot of girls who were surpressing their âlady loverâ desires.
DO YOU KNOW TINA, SANTANA OR RACHEL? WHATâS YOUR OPINION ON THEM? I know of them, donât really know them. Iâve heard that they are like prostitutes or something? I donât really care about those rumors, if they want to have sex with lots of people then they can totally go for it! More power to them.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Oh boy, strap yourself in. After high school I am moving to New York where I am going to work on becoming a superstar, because I am a superstar. I donât want to be a Broadway dork, unless its an edgy musical. I want to become something big that gives people hope and joy because thatâs what music is supposed to do. I might go to NYU or something, Iâm still waiting to hear back from them.
 WRITING SAMPLE: Dani slammed her locker shut and groaned at the noise it made. Her head had been pounding since she woke up, or when she went downstairs and had another nauseating conversation with her mom. Dani once believed that homophobic, overbearing parents only existed online and in movies where the gay hero or heroine escapes the evil clutches of their parents and runs away to New York where they become a giant star. Okay, so maybe thatâs exactly the life she wanted for herself, but it sounded a lot less clichĂŠ when she talked about it. Her life had been a rollercoaster of crappy feelings and constant disappointment with her mother.
Going to school was an escape from the hellhole that was her house. She had been at McKinley for a week now and so far everything was peachy keen for her. She joined the glee club with ease, she wasnât the leader or anything but she was just happy to be there. The people seemed to be more accepting and welcoming, well some of them. There was a ridiculous social ladder that everyone seemed to worship and your place on it was more important than your personality and general likeability. She scoffed at how stupid the whole thing was but secretly she wanted to climb that ladder and make it her bitch. Dani was known as a likeable person, she made everyone laugh and she made even the straightest girls swoon so she knew she would have no trouble being here if she actually applied herself to a social life. Dani let out a sigh and ran her hand threw her blonde hair and looked around at the other kids rushing to get to class. She wanted to make her senior year the best one yet and she was willing to go to any length to make it happen.
