the only thing i love more than The Character dying horribly is making The Character gain weight as a way of healing. it's no secret that i am a fan of fat, hairy men, and i'm pleased to share with you think twice by potato_leader, a solittle fic with The Character gaining weight instead of dying horribly. that said, i always love a post-rescue fic where Little is a homemaker and Tozer does some sort of physical labor, that's my guilty pleasure instead of, like, coffee shop AUs. i'm such a big fan of them in these gentle post-rescue AUs in general.

I haven't exactly been a good friend lately, and while I owe a great deal of apologies to a great deal of people it would be unwise to cross their boundaries in order to deliver them.

So I hope this can at least serve as a start.

As easy as it is to blame idle hands in the summer, lapsed usage of medication, or a busy workload during the fall and spring, the truth is I've just been a really shit friend. That's on me and no external factor is responsible for that.

If I made you feel relegated on the sidelines, made you the brunt of my emotional breakdowns, or put you up on some weird ass pedestal, hurt you or otherwise made you uncomfortable -- This is an apology to you.

I am thoroughly and incredibly sorry and it was never my intention to hurt anyone or put these things on anyone else’s plate, regardless of this I did and I want to make it right in whatever way is the most appropriate for the individual case.

Of course, I intend on doing the legwork -- I have identified the behaviors in myself that I dislike the most and ultimately hurt the people around me, yes with some outside help but also through a bit of self reflection, and I am working to eliminate them from my pattern of interaction with people.

Some would rather see the work being done instead of hearing about it, but I think going on to work on myself without acknowledging that I actually really hurt people would be a disservice to those people.

I am working on it and you don't have to take my word for that right now, but please know that I am sorry.

If none of this applies to you then that’s really good and wonderful! And I’m glad. But it doesn’t erase the fact that I did hurt some people or make them otherwise uncomfortable with my behaviors and actions, and that’s not fair to them.
