UPDATES.

A quick reminder that Future Week will be starting this Sunday. A more detailed post on the matter will be posted on Saturday afternoon. For now, just keep in mind that at midnight, the gleeks will no longer be teenagers. They will have traveled seven years into the depths of adulthood. If you don't have any plans or plots for future week, don't be afraid to get up in some ask boxes and plot away!

Now, on to more important matters.

I think everyone here needs to take a good, hard, look at the rules once more. There are, however, a few I'd like to focus on specifically.

ACTIVITY,

Activity is important for any roleplay. It is the holiday season, however, and activity around this time usually becomes slow. Especially for those of us dealing with work, school or other things. I do ask though that everyone tries to make an effort to get on and reply to as many starters as they can and avoid dropping conversations. As always, if you know your activity isn't going to be up to par and you just need a few days, send a message to the main.

FRIENDSHIPS,

Interactions wise, I think we do pretty good. I would like to see more strong friendships being made. Don't be afraid to plot with someone or ask if another player would like to do a storyline together.  While, I don't mind Santana having lots of friends or being the one people turn to, I would like other friendships to develop more as well.The beauty of AU RP. Creating things outside of canon. Just remember, you give what you get.

RESPECT,

Most important of all: Let's respect each other. I won't tolerate anyone making someone else feel less than or uncomfortable. I'm not asking you to bite your tongue, sugar coat your opinion, nor am I asking for anyone to censor themselves. I'm simply asking everyone here have the decency to make sure your words aren't coming across undiplomatic. Whether it be about a person, another opinion, the way someone else does things or anything you do or don't agree with. You feel yourself heated, step away from the computer and take a few moments to yourself. Or come in my inbox and vent. Something to take the edge off.

FUN,

Have it. Don't forget to and again, as always, if you're not enjoying your experience here at POBM at all, then don't hesitate to leave. I want everyone here to love it, but if you're not then simply message me. No hard feelings.

And on that note, I am looking for someone trustworthy to become my co-admin. If you think you've got the time, want and skills to do it, please send a message to the main. I'll be choosing one to two other people.

FUTURE WEEK:

That's right ladies and gentlemen, POBM presents its first future week! Before you go into a frenzy, future week won't be for quite sometime. This is just a heads up so you can plan ahead and figure out exactly where you want your character. Future week will take place from December 1st to December 8th. So, you've got plenty of time to figure things out. So, no need to rush. A few things:

During future week, POBM will not be accepting any new members. So, for any lurkers or friend of a friend who wants to join, they should do so now or wait until after future week is over.

We'll be going seven years into the future. It's not much but this isn't the last future week will be doing.

Realism. Remember it.

As always, have fun and do what you think is best for your character! Just don't make any of them Queen of the world. Unless your character is Lauren Zizes.

UPDATE DONE.

The update is done. As you can see, I've added new characters, new teachers, and new teams. We'll be trying out a new system on the gossip blog so we can get back to the basics. So, there are a few things I'm going to ask you all to do.

And this is where I encourage you guys to keep plotting. Keep in mind the characters attend a school with many, many, many other students. Do not be afraid to use that to your advantage and further your character's self story lines.

Also, friendly reminder of the usual: reply to starters as well as making them an don't be afraid to argue with your enemies!

ACTIVITY CHECK 01:

Over the next week or so, I will be updating the site. Updating bios, adding new characters, pages and introducing a few things. Recently, things have slowed down, and there's a reason for that; a reason I completely, one hundred percent, understand. Still, a few haven't logged in for days or are more active in the ooc than the dash. So, with that said, here's our very first mandatory activity check. Guidelines are below:

If you are on the hiatus list, you are exempt from the activity check.

You have until Monday, October 28th 9 P.M. EST to get this done.

If you fail to get this done, you will be removed from the roleplay, no warnings.

You need to make five text posts. (That can be anything from convos, starters, self paras, chat posts. Reblogs of photos or music do not count)

After that, send a message to the main to be added to the safe list.

If you know your activity is going to slow down or you need to be added to the hiatus list, simply message the main. That is all. Happy rping!
