It's okay to gain weight during the quarentine. I promise it doesn't feel like it but it's okay, this is a tough time for all of us.
It's okay to eat more than usual because you're surrounded by food during this time. It's okay to binge accidentally or to eat more than you would without the pandemic.
It's okay. It's all going to be okay.
Our DMS are always open if you need to talk or need a safe place to vent about your struggles. We're here to help and support each and every one of you

Someone with a “fresh” ED: Omg it’s been three weeks and I only lost 10kg -.-||
Me, having had my ED for 6 years, losing and gaining the same 5kgs: ... :)
In the COVID19 panic, people who suffer from eating disorders are on my heart. ED behaviors (any of them, at any weight) weaken the immune system. Combine that with the tendency to deny or downplay the severity of our behaviors and their effects.
People with EDs might be at increased risk for becoming ill and spreading this disease, and they may not be able to acknowledge that.
If you have and ED, please take care of yourself. Take care of your body by doing your best to eat a variety of nutritious foods (follow the meal plan prescribed by your dietician, if you have one). Strive to reduce compensatory behaviors (purging via vomiting, laxatives, or excessive/compulsive exercise). Take your medications as prescribed and continue seeing your treatment team as circumstances allow.
Take care of your mind by getting outside for a few minutes each day, take a gentle walk around the block. Take a bath. Watch that program on Netflix you’ve been meaning to see (without exercising while you do it). Read that book that’s been waiting on the shelf. Take some deep breaths. Spend time in meditative prayer, if that’s your thing. Relax.
If you don’t have an eating disorder but know someone who does, please try to take care of them and gently encourage them to eat (they may need lots of support and reassurance to do this).
We will get through this, and I want my folks with EDs to get through safely with the rest of us.
Choosing recovery is a very brave thing to do

posting this now! when i get under 120 i will shout praises to the heavens and dance in the moonlight! i haven't been under that in literally almost 6 years! but now i'm 4 inches taller so it'll be even more satisfying!!!
this post was made on april 9th. i will reblog once i have succeeded.
the fact that stars exist and we can look at them every single night for free just makes me go !!!!!!!!!!!!
I satisfied a craving today.
One thing I learned is that if you're really craving something and eat something else with lower cals instead, you'll most likely binge eventually looking for that fix.
So I had my 300 cals of cup noodles instead of who knows how many cals of random stuff I find in the kitchen. And they were tasty as shit.
PLEASE boost this this is so real lmao
EAT THE THING. dont force yourself into an all out binge because you were scared of one item. let yourself eat it and then move on. it will have a better outcome.
