I assumed that Gandrel knew what his target looked like and thought Astarion fit the description, but wrote him off due to the daylight. But I don’t think Roisia would have intuited that–since Gandrel never warned these poor innocent travellers what they ought to lookout for specifically–and would want to see how much Gandrel knew of his target… only to be forced to come up with increasingly elaborate (or desperate) reasons as to why Astarion was definitely not the spawn Gandrel was looking for. Poor Gandrel!

jellywitch (2020) here’s a draw-it-again of a picture i posted exactly 10 years ago. the original design was done as part of my character design class, i was assigned the animal jellyfish and the genre fantasy. i wanted to check how i would approach the same subject/design now, after all those years. it was pretty fun~
