QPR sounds right to me? They just give off couple vibes, don't ask me why...

But yeah, I'm fairly sure I'm aroace as well and I guess that influences how I see character ships! I could never write about or draw things where they're being romantic but I still 'ship' them.

It can feel a bit weird sometimes if the CCs aren't actually together but I feel like they often play into the vibe. Like with Martyn and Ren - they act married.

This whole thing is making me think about proposing to my best friend 'will you platonically marry me [their name]? We can be best friends forever, share a house and pretend to be a couple at weddings'... Hmm not a bad idea

Anyway, I do feel like all the Scarian-ness of this part of the internet can be a bit much... I just stick to the ones that I think are characterised best and I just find cute!

We need more platonic mcyt ships. Make your Yuri Yuri but bestie-ify it!!! Yaoi? Ya-y we're married as friends!

And I get you! Like I said I don’t dislike Scarian, I’m just very picky with the depictions of them I do enjoy and stick to those posters. They’re very cute! I AM still a redscape main though, I have a soft spot for the under-appreciated.

I believe it’s a mixture of the words redstone and landscape! Since mumbo is primarily a redstone and Scar is great at landscaping :) they’re also called mumscar, but I like the creativeness of redscape
