suggestive near the end, but wholly this is fluff . i want to write a drabble series for jason and reader as roommates . ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ㅤ♡

“… Did you use my body wash?”

You’re shuffling through your bedroom drawers when Jason’s voice reaches you. You got out of the shower just a few minutes ago with the subdued smell of his body wash clinging onto your skin.

It was an instinctual choice. Your hand grabbed the bottle perched on the small shelf in the bathroom without thinking twice about it. Only when the smell spread through the steam did you realize—this was Jason’s.

“Yes?” You move the collar of your shirt around. “I hope you don’t mind. Mine ran out.”

You’re not sure if that’s true. You hadn’t checked, content to keep using the product that was already in your hand.

“Of course,” Jason’s hand scratches his neck. “It’s your apartment—”

“Our apartment.”

“I know. But you’re letting me crash for a while. Which I still haven’t properly thanked you for.”

“I’ve already stolen half of your products so I think I’ve gotten the thanks I need.” You smile at him.

“You can keep using them, if you want.”

“So I can smell like you?” You raise a brow. “We already share coffee every morning, might as well share body wash.”

“I mean,” Jason curses under his breath. He takes a step closer to the door frame, “if you like the body wash, that is. Pretty sure it’s high quality as well.”

“Alright,” you nod, feeling a rush of confidence.

You step closer to him. Jason straightens up immediately. He locks eyes with you. They widen slightly, glossed over and impatient.

“I wondered what scent you wore,” you let your eyes trail his frame, “something close to cedar and… sandalwood?”

“Yes?” Jason tries to focus his eyes on something else in your room. His stare roams around before landing back on you. “Wait, you think I smell good?”

You take a step back and his shoulders fall. He practically melts into the wall beside him.

“Yes. So, you’re okay with me using your body wash? I like the eucalyptus shampoo you have. I might grab that one too.”

“You can use everything of mine.”

You can’t help but smile at his admission. The way his cheeks flush and head drops makes you think he also has realized what he just said.

“So gentlemanly, Todd.”

“Shut up.”

“You’re the one who walked into my bedroom after I had just finished my shower interrogating me about your body wash.”

“You’re dressed,” his voice comes out strained.

“Unfortunately?”

“Okay, that’s it. I’m going back to my room.”
