3 things that I learned the hard way these 28 years of my life:

1. You don’t have to explain your side of the story.

2. Saying no doesn’t make you a bad person. Set boundaries.

3. Just because they’re related to you doesn’t mean you HAVE to keep a relationship with them. Toxic people need to be cut off regardless of the history you have with them.
