Day 1 - Domestic
I’ve been wanting to draw this ever since @freyadragonlord first made that true-form Eran plushie and now it’s Faedom Week so I kicked myself in the butt and finally did :D
Mosk and Eran for Day 6 of Faedom Week over at @poigdomevents Mosk and Eran belong to @not-poignant Reference
I wanted to do so much more, but only ever got time to do one thing for Faedom 2022. Painted a sunflower mug with some of my favorite things from the Seething Seas - plus the flesh fruit because it was a must.
The outside of the mug is inspired by the fire scale blanket Mosk found for Eran, the handle is the rope around Mosk wrist and little purple flowers for the ones that Mosk grew for The Raven Prince. Inside at the bottom is the flesh fruit and the walls of ice as Mosk visited Davix. Didn't come out perfect, buy still quite happy.
Faedom Week Day 6: The Seething Seas
‘Mosk Manytrees, seventh son of a seventh son, the survivor of your kind and Davix’s conqueror, cast your mind back – if you will – and tell me a tale of an Aur dryad that made new kinds of plant. Or, if you cannot think of one, think of any tale, any fae, that calmly made a new species of life in a matter of minutes.’
‘Well,’ Mosk said. ‘But I don’t know many tales. I’ve been sheltered, you know. And I’m young.’
‘Then trust that I know a thing or two of tales. Trust that you are a marvel, and that if you didn’t feel tired after doing what you’d just done, I might feel threatened enough by you that I’d scheme your downfall.’

paying homage to one of my favorite elements of that book… the smoke kisses. 🔥🔥🔥 One of Eran’s very best ideas, tbh. And in a way I suppose this also fits the “overpowered” theme, because Mosk SURE gets overpowered by this, huhuhu 😈
