Help Izzy?

Hi! I’m Izzy. If you’ve been following my blog, you might know that last September I was hit by a van while out biking. I was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery to reconstruct my knee. Unfortunately, despite the surgery, my knee will never be the same, and the driver that hit me was found legally at fault. I even had to withdraw from school for the semester. A settlement is in the works, but we don’t know when we’ll see money from that- at least a year off.

So in the meantime my family and I have been carrying the financial and emotional burden. Due to this, I no longer can afford the living costs that come with going to school in Virginia- rent, money, and supplies. I’m currently applying to get a job that will support me while I go to art school, but with no luck.

The basics of it is I need to raise at least $300 to cover the month of May’s rent, and another $200 so I (and my two cats!) can eat. Hopefully this will get me until I can find a job. If I don’t raise this money by the end of April, I will be unable to keep my apartment,

Thanks everyone whose donated so far! I just wanted to give an update-I’ve been ghosted by potential employers and am back to square one on that front. On top of that, one of my cats had to be put down, and the money I was saving towards rent and food went towards some of those costs. I hate to recirculate this post again, but even a few dollars could make next month easier until I finally find employment.
