Hello, I'm Gwen and I'm a huge fan of poison and bug type Pokemon! Feel free to ask me questions and I'll do my best to enlighten you on the wonders of poison types.
My Trubbish decided it wants to be a Fairy-type. It won't go anywhere without the child costume wings I bought for it, and it carries a little pouch of glitter ("pixie dust") with it when we leave the house. Some people we've met say it's wrong to encourage this behavior, and I don't want to cause any problems for Trubbish. What do you think?
I think it's very cute and not at all an issue??? 'Mons have a complex personality of their own, and I think you're doing good as its trainer allowing your Trubbish to experiment with its appearance! I'd even recommend you try 'ball seals together, there are some heart-shaped ones that I think your Trubbish will enjoy.
That being said, PLEASE send a picture of your Trubbish with fairy wings, I'd die to see it.
They used to use a lot of corvinight for it back in the day where I'm from, now they have machines that make it a lot faster (and safer) to build them.
consider instead a collection of fashionable hats for your gulpin to wear that won't fuck up their poor fleshy bodies. however, if you do so, make sure to cut out a little slit for their yellow marker
that part isn't for health or safety. they just get shy if you don't.
Hey I was wondering if you had any advice on caring for quilfish. Mine has been acting really weird for the last few weeks, like any time I let him out of his pokeball for a swim he just... flips upside down and turns in circles for a while?
I've taken him to a couple ofpokemon centers and he's perfectly healthy according to them, but this isn't like any kind of play behavior that I've seen in any of my other pokemon so I'm still a little worried.
Any explanation or advice would be really welcome, I'm just coming to you because I don't know fish pokemon very well and thought you might have some insight.
They checked for accumulated gas, right? Sometimes qwilfish just need to be burped like a human baby, they can "swallow" too much air from inflating out of the water or eating too fast (which is why it's good to give them crunchy foods like molluscs, both to help trim their beaks and to make sure they HAVE to slow down when eating).
Oh yeah, I'd been giving him softer food for the last few months because I got a bunch for cheap. I'll try switching him to a mix of soft and harder food, including molluscs like you suggested.
They did mention that he was a little gassy, but they seemed unconcerned with it so I didn't really consider it.
It's not usually dangerous as long as it gets treated promptly, and you can burp your qwilfish at home as long as you have a way to keep yourself from being hit with the spines. And if it was getting to the danger point, you would have noticed other symptoms- lethargy, refusal to eat (very rare in a qwilfish!), so on and so forth.
The thing about fish pokemon is that their internal structures can get very weird, so there are fish pokemon that can burp and release accumulated gases (whiscash, for example), and there are some that can't (like qwilfish!), and probably not every pokemon center has an available list of "DOES THIS FISH POKEMON BURP" in their system.

Hello! This is another Pokemon IRL blog run by Bench! I'm 22, and use he/they pronouns. I had fun sending asks to @team-kawaiipunk as an Amity Park representative, so I figured why not go all in?
This is a villain blog. While they're not "evil" per se, they're definitely not doing good by being so exclusive with the park.
This is a drama stakes blog. Feelings will definitely be hurt in-character, but no great harm should come to anyone. This blog will, at least for the time being, not be engaging in high-stakes stuff.
Please do not send any NSFW asks, as they make me extremely uncomfortable.
Interactions from sapient Pokemon are welcome! I run several sapient Pokemon blogs, after all.
Spent my night designing dresses inspired by Togekiss! Togekiss is a very beautiful pokemon to me, and it's also really common for performances. Someone came in with their Togekiss and asked me to make a dress that matches theirs, so here are some of the designs I made.
Variants under the cut
Dresses were really fun to make. There were multiple color schemes I was able to do, so I'm letting them choose which one they like best. Tried giving it that playful angelic feeling, but still being able to tell that it's a Togekiss. My personal favorite one is the tip right one, but the performer chose the top left.
If you want, you can send a pokemon that you want me to design an outfit on.
