I’ve also stopped playing wow - everyone I knew moved to ffxiv, so it was only reasonable to follow since I already owned up to stormblood. Shadowbringers has the literal best story I’ve seen in forever, by the way. Very worth.

HOWEVER - this doesn’t mean Jia is forgotten and left to rot. Due to in character schenanigans I was able to move her over to ffxiv, and she now runs around as a very temperamental miqo’te. She also accidentally sold her soul to the fae and took on a very druidic aspect to her fighting style, but that’s another story for another time.

She likely won’t hear about what is going to happen to Shek’zara, but has already assumed Azeroth is doomed - she knows N’zoth is up and running, she doesn’t like it. How can the world stand against an old god, completely free?

...I think the situation is stupid though. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the empress as a world boss? The mantid population suffered enough losses already. They have no business declaring war OUTSIDE OF A SWARM and historically have been shown to avoid doing so, as per kil’ruk’s short story, because of the lack of numbers. They have also been shown to rarely move the empress out of the palace, so...

Hey you wanna have some fukn uh... bug. Cricket, Jia’s engineer roommate and the only reason she has wings now. He focuses on prosthetics and mechanical constructs... the former is more of a “pays the bills” sort of thing while making giant mechanical spiders that eat your face is what he’s really after.

He holds the lesser races in no high regards, but tolerates them bc Jia cares a lot about them for some reason. He doesn’t really get it... not yet, anyways.

Sometimes... you just gotta be comfy. The only time Jia ditches her armor (except when sleeping ofc) is when she’s at home in the Wastes. The best application for comfy clothes is curling up with a few good books, obviously.
