Isaac Night as a concept is so fascinating that part of me genuinely wishes Tim Burton had made an original movie about him something that existed entirely on its own not tied to Wednesday. It could’ve been animated or live-action I don’t even care just something where he got to breathe as a character. Like a standalone Burton story in the vein of Frankenweenie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or Edward Scissorhands.
She’s Alive!
In which Isaac creates life in his lab.
Bring me to life
Summary: reader and Isaac know each other from meeting in the library. She’s a normie who study’s music, and she dies in a car crash, and Isaac wants to bring her back with his new invention he worked on.
Warning: mention of death, car crash
He met you for the first time in the local library of Jericho, you had a part-time job there and were a student at the university in the mornings, studying music, and you wanted to become a pianist and make your own music.
Isaac saw you almost every day, he could remember the first time he came to the library because the book he needed for a science paper wasn't available in the Nevermore library, he asked you about it, and you helped him find it.
Isaac told you that he was an Outcast student at Nevermore Academy, and you told him that you were a normie studying art. From that day on, he visited you more often in the library, showing you his sketches for his science, and you were totally fascinated by them. He was currently working on an invention that was supposed to bring the dead back to life. At first, you found it a bit strange and thot it was impossible, but you had heard that all of Isaac's inventions worked.
Today was a rainy day as you both sat together in the library again, and you watched him as he continued to draw on his machine; to you, it looked complicated.
"And how do you plan to put all this together?" "Looks difficult?" you asked.
Isaac just laughed, "For you, it looks difficult, but for me, it's a piece of cake, I've built more complicated things."
The smell of old books surrounded you, and the rain pattered softly against the library window.
"Well, if you say so." you reply.
Isaac continued sketching, and you put a few of the returned books back on the shelves where they belong.
"Isaac, don't you think it's unethical to build this machine?" you asked while putting the books back on the shelves.
Isaac looked at you seriously, his eyes shining with his obsession for his inventions.
"For you, it might be unethical, but for me, it's an opportunity, the chance to bring things back, starting with animals and maybe even humans later. Just think about what a huge advancement this could be for humanity, the families who lost their children or their parents, they could be happy again, do you understand, Y/n?" he said.
You stopped your work and put the book back.
"You are right, Isaac, I can now understand why you do it." you replied seriously.
"I knew you would understand, you're smart Y/n, even tho you don't have extraordinary powers like us outcasts." he said, looking at you with his brown eyes.
You glanced at the clock and saw that it was already just before the library closed.
"Isaac, I have to start tidying up." "It's almost closing time, you know I still have to check and put everything away." you said.
"Wait, let me help you, it will go faster with me." he said, standing up to use his telekinesis and putting the left-behind books from visitors onto the shelves, and closing the windows with a flick of his finger.
You watch Isaac, impressed.
"Wow, that's awesome." you say.
"Thanks, I just wanted to take a bit of work off your hands." he said with a smile on his face.
"Thank you very much, Isaac, I have to go now, see you on Friday at the café, okay?" you said.
You had a date with Isaac.
"Yeah, I'll be there, don't worry.” he said and winked at you.
You nodded and left, Isaac watched you for a moment longer than necessary. For the first time, he felt a connection to someone and not just to his inventions.
The days passed quite quickly, and before he knew it, it was Friday. As agreed, he came to the Weathervane Café in Jericho; it smelled of coffee and pastries and was cozy. Isaac was wearing a simple black shirt and black pants, his brown curls neatly combed, and he had brought a bouquet of flowers.
From a distance, he saw you waiting, you were wearing a beautiful black dress, your hair was down, and you were wearing a pearl necklace.
He joined you.
"Good day, Y/n, you look great," he said, holding out the flowers to you.
You were flattered and accepted them. it was a bouquet of black callas.
"You said you like special flowers, so I thot you would like these," said Isaac.
You smiled.
"Yes, you're right, these look very special, I will definitely dry them," you reply with a smile.
Isaac liked the smile on your lips.
"That was the least I could do for you," he said with a slight smile on his lips.
After that, you both ordered your food, you took cheesecake and a cappuccino, and he took a raspberry cake with an espresso. The date went perfectly, and you talked about all sorts of things. He told you that his machine was almost finished being built, and you mentioned that you would soon have your first first piano performance you had, where Isaac would naturally come. It was getting dark and it was just before closing time.
Isaac and you took your jackets and he paid, outside it was raining, and you could hear the patter of the rain on the street. You didn't want Isaac to take the bus and offered to drive him back to Nevermore, and after several minutes of persuasion, he finally agreed and got into the car.
The ride was smooth, occasionally interrupted only by the sound of the radio music, and the trees of the Jericho forests passed by you. Isaac watched you from the side, like one of his projects.
"Today was really nice y/n, we can do this again," he said.
"Thanks, and yes, we can, next time you just show me a nice place where we can go, okay?" you replied, looking at the road.
"Yes, I will." Isaac said.
But he didn't know that there wouldn't be a next time. Not yet.
After 5 minutes, you already spotted the old, rusty gate covered in ivy of Nevermore Academy.
"Wow, pretty creepy at night, huh?" you said, to which Isaac just nodded.
The actual grounds were even more enormous as you drove along the path.
"Okay, stop, please." said Isaac, whereupon you stopped your car.
He got out and walked to the driver's side, you opened the door and got out as well.
Without hesitation, Isaac kissed you, and you reciprocated. His lips were soft and warm against yours, and you loved every second and minute that passed. After several minutes, the kiss ended, and he leaned back from you.
"Until next time, Y/n, take care of yourself, okay?" he said, looking into your eyes with his brown ones.
You were still a bit perplexed by the kiss, but you quickly responded.
"Yes, I will, thank you for the flowers and the date today," you said with a smile and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Isaac was surprised but said nothing about it, just a "see you next time," and slowly walked to the main building, while you got back into the car and turned around. It was raining even more now, and you had slight problems driving. You had it under control, but the roads were slippery like oil on a tiled floor.
You drove on, listening to the music on the radio, you drove a bit faster but still had control, and you thot about Isaac, the date, the kiss, just everything, you were distracted and missed a car in front of you, on a steep and slippery curve, you swerved at the last second, but in all the excitement, you missed an oncoming car again, and before you could realize it, you crashed head-on into the oncoming vehicle, your car flipped several times, and fell thru a broken guardrail into the depths.
You were dead on the spot; nothing could be done for you.
The rescue teams arrived within 10 minutes, but it was futile; you were dead, the injuries were too severe. Your blood clung to the flowers you had received from Isaac just a few hours earlier.
The rescue workers recovered your body, and everything was documented by the police; your car was just a wreck.
The undertaker came and took your body to prepare it for the police and the later funeral.
The road remained closed for several hours.
Meanwhile, Isaac didn't know yet that you were dead. When he went to bed.
It was only the next day that he learned about the fatal accident of a person on the road to the Academy. He saw the newspaper and couldn't believe it, it couldn't be true, but the car looked like your car, the same one he had been in the nite before.
His panic rose, he didn't want to believe it, and he decided to drive to the city to the morgue to see if it was indeed a mistake.
During the drive, he passed the accident site it looked terrible, and he couldn't imagine how painful it must have been.
He reached the undertaker and sneaked through the main building into the morgue.
In the hall, it was cold, and you could smell and feel death. He took a look at the latest arrivals, and couldn't believe it, your name was on the list. Isaac couldn't believe it. He was like petrified, he had spent the hours before with you, and now you were dead, it was all his fault, if only he had taken the bus, none of this would have happened.
Isaac, who never cried, had tears streaming down his cheeks. He only thot about how you had kissed him before you died.
He unfastened the zipper of the body bag and saw your face, bloody and barely recognizable; he couldn't bear the sight of you, so he closed the bag again and had to disappear. It was simply too much for him.
He barricaded himself in his room and cried.
Gomez and Morticia had also had read about the accident in the newspaper, but they didn't initially know that it was his good normie friend who had died.
Even when Gomez was able to unlock his bedroom door, Isaac didn't speak.
He just lay on the bed.
So it went on for weeks, he was full of sorrow, and came to your funeral, and often visited your grave, brought you flowers. And spoke with you.
"I'm sorry." "I'm so very sorry," he said over and over again, crying.
He avoided the library since your death, and also the weathervane. He didn't want to be reminded of it, and started to throw himself back into his work he couldn't live without you, and decided to finish building his machine that was supposed to bring the dead back. He wanted to bring you back to life. And he would succeed, no matter the cost.
After he had finished building it, all that was left was the body, so he went to the cemetery at night and dug up your body, or what was left of it, with his telekinesis. Through the secret passages, he was able to bring you to the Iago Tower without anyone seeing him. What he did was not only illegal but also ethically immoral.
He carefully laid you on the metal table and began to piece you back together, the accident had left deep scars. He worked on you for several days, painted your nails, gave you some new hair, and clean clothes.
Now he just had to activate his machine.
The day had come, and he placed you under the machine.
Isaac put on his safety goggles and flipped the switch, electric energy and voltage surged, and it smelled like ozone. It didn't take long for the machine's emitter to activate, and the radiation was aimed at you. He observed everything closely, and after a few minutes, the machine was ready, now he just had to wait and hope it had worked.
Isaac took off his goggles, deactivated his machine, and walked over to you.
"Come back to me, please." he said, lightly stroking your cheeks.
Your eyes remained closed, and with each passing minute, Isaac lost hope, perhaps he had miscalculated or done something wrong.
He was just about to turn away when you opened your eyes and gasped for air.
Isaac was astonished his experiment had been successful, and you were back.

The cemetery is quiet, but quiet in a way that feels wrong, like it’s holding its breath. Your ghostly form drifts between tilted headstones, your fingers brushing moss that doesn’t feel the same when you’re no longer alive to touch it.
And then you feel him.
Isaac Night doesn’t walk like the living. His footsteps sound too heavy, too deliberate, each one a reminder that his body isn’t his own. The clockwork heart in his chest ticks faintly, a rhythm that clashes with the silence of the graveyard.
“I knew you’d be here,” he says, voice gravelly, like dirt over a coffin lid. His eyes find you, not afraid, not even cautious. They’re sharp, hungry, reverent.
“You shouldn’t be able to see me,” you whisper.
His lips curl faintly, humorless. “Death doesn’t scare me. I’ve lived it. I’ve come back from it. You think a ghost could hide from me?”
You float closer despite yourself, wings of mist trailing faintly from your shoulders. “And if I wanted to hide?”
His expression tightens. “Then I’d find you anyway.”
The words should sound like a threat, but the way he says them, low, almost pleading, sends a chill through you. He steps closer, the gears in his chest ticking softly like a metronome only you can hear.
“I can feel you,” he says, his voice breaking with something raw. “Every time you drift near, the machine slows, like it wants to match your rhythm. You make me feel… alive.”
You shake your head. “I’m not alive. Not anymore.”
“That doesn’t matter.” His hand reaches out, trembling slightly as it passes through your ghostly wrist. The sensation makes you both gasp, you from the cold ripple of his touch, him from the way his hand shakes like he’s holding lightning. “I don’t care if you’re made of flesh or shadow. You’re here. You’re mine.”
There’s that word again, mine. Possessive, desperate, inevitable.
“Isaac…” you whisper, torn between warning and longing. “I can’t stay. Ghosts fade. That’s what we do.”
“Not you,” he snaps, voice hard enough to echo. His eyes blaze as the gears in his chest grind louder. “I won’t let you fade. If it takes every scrap of science, every ounce of blood in me,I’ll bind you here.” His hand fists against his chest, over the ticking heart. “To this world. To me.”
You hover closer, compelled by the madness and the devotion laced together in his words. Your fingers brush his jaw, cold mist meeting warm flesh, and for a moment you both believe it’s real. His eyes flutter shut, as if he’s memorizing the phantom touch.
“You’d chain yourself to a ghost?” you ask softly.
“I already have,” he breathes. “Every night I crawl out of the grave I should’ve stayed in, and still,I come here. For you. Don’t you see? You’re the only thing left worth haunting.”
Something inside you aches, even though you have no heart to ache with. You lean in until your lips almost touch his, a kiss that can never quite exist. He doesn’t care,he leans forward anyway, his breath mingling with the cold shimmer of your form.
For an instant, you both pretend it’s real. That you’re alive. That he isn’t dead. That two broken things can make each other whole.
When you pull back, his eyes are wild, fever-bright. “Stay,” he whispers, clutching at the air like he can hold you in place. “Stay with me, even if the world forgets us. I’ll never let you go.”
And though you know ghosts aren’t meant to linger, you nod, because his obsession feels like gravity, and maybe you’re tired of floating.
“Always,” you answer, and the graveyard exhales as if sealing the vow.

Join me in death
Summary: reader is depressed after Isaacs death and does something tragic
Warning: mention of suicide, described suicide, mentions of illness and depression, don’t read if you get triggered easily
You and Isaac were best friends, inseparable to be precise, you both were DaVinci students at Nevermore where you had met. Back then, it was autumn when you arrived and didn't know anyone. It was Isaac who noticed you after he bumped into you in the stairwell, and your books fell, revealing your sketches for prototypes of various machines you wanted to start working on.
Isaac was fascinated by you; one could say you were even smarter than he was. It was on a rainy day that he asked you if you wanted to go to the Iago Tower with him after school and help him with his work on an invention. Isaac always thot that two brains are smarter and can achieve more than a single person.
You said yes, and from then on, you spent almost every day in the Iago Tower, tinkering together on your work.
But one day, Isaac became ill he had a heart condition and spent most of his time in his room, drawing all the amazing machines he wanted to build. You stood by his side, day and night, every minute you had, reading him stories, sometimes books, sometimes stories or poetry you had written yourself. And you also helped him with eating and drinking.
Isaac appreciated this very much, but he still didn't want you to sacrifice all your time for him because he was afraid that you would perform poorly in your subjects because you no longer had time to study because of him. But you didn't mind, you liked taking care of him, and you continued to get straight A's.
Despite all your efforts, Isaac's condition worsened, and the doctors gave him only a few months to live.
But he wanted to save himself and began to build his own mechanical clockwork heart. It was fascinating when you saw the sketch for the first time; it looked impossible, but it wasn't. He was Isaac Night his inventions always worked, he was a genius, and indeed the operation was successful. Isaac had recovered, his heart could now keep up with his brilliant mind, but your friend slowly changed, he became cold to others, and only fixated on his work.
Only to you was he not cold, as he remembered your help and love when he was sick.
But he began to overestimate himself, as his inventions became increasingly dangerous. You wanted to warn him, but he ignored any advice given to him. It became too dangerous for you, and you stopped collaborating with him, but you remained friends. The weekend a few days before his death, he was your companion at the annual ball and even gave you flowers.
Flashback end
"Mrs. L/N, are you present?" Professor Orloff asked you, as you had once again lost yourself in thought.
"No, everything's fine, Professor," you reply.
"Well then, if it's nothing, I'll come to your tests that you wrote last week." he took out the corrected tests and went outside, you also got yours back and had a 5.
"I would like to speak with you after class, Ms. L/N," he said, continuing to hand out the tests.
You had never been so bad at school since his death. When Isaac died, your world fell apart, everything you had was suddenly gone, your best friend dead, the empty space was still beside you, it just felt so empty without him.
The class ended, and all the students left, but you stayed as Professor Orloff had requested.
"Please close the door, Ms. l/n," he said, and you did.
"Take a seat," he urged you, and you sat down on the chair.
"Y/n, I know it's hard what happened, but your grades are suffering because of it. You were the top of the class last year... now you're the bottom of the class." Believe me, I miss Mr. Night very much too, but we can't change it. He was brilliant, I know that, but now he is gone, so I ask you, follow in his footsteps, become the student I once knew. Do it for Isaac, he would surely be proud of you. "Do it for Isaac, he would be proud of you." You nodded slightly, but inside you were no longer the same.
You nodded slightly, but inside you were no longer the same.
"Well then, you can go.“ he said, and you left the room. You actually had a meeting at the book club now, but since Isaac's death, you hadn't participated in any club or course anymore. Why bother? It didn't matter to you anymore; you spent your time in your room, looking at the roses he had brought you for the ball. You had preserved them so that they would last, and you could look at them over and over again.
You gently stroked the dark red rose petals.
"I miss you, Isaac.“ you whispered, but received no answer.
Weeks passed, and it had now been half a year since he died, and you became increasingly depressed. It felt as if no one understood you, not even your roommate or your parents.
Your inventions that you had built no longer worked, some even exploded, which made you even more depressed.
You couldn't take it anymore and made the decision to end your suffering.
The Night was cold as you sneaked out of your room to the Iago Tower and took the elevator up.
The tower was now so empty, Isaac's inventions were gathering dust, and where conversations once echoed, there was now only a suffocating silence. It felt strange to be back, without him. But you wouldn't stay long.
You used your telekinesis to damage the glass window, and immediately the cold night air hit your skin.
You stood at the edge. It was high. Very high. You could see the forest of Jericho and the rest of the Academy.
The cold wind blew through your hair, and you closed your eyes and remembered all the beautiful moments with Isaac.
A single tear rolled down your cheek before you jumped into your death he was not just a friend, he was everything to you.
Ofc he was a straight A student
We never dated
Summary: reader likes Isaac and ends up talking to him in the iago tower
Warnings: none
You had been a student at Nevermore for six months, and you could control insects. At first, it was very difficult for you to fit in at the academy, but you had a nice roommate named Ruby, who was a DaVinci student. DaVincis could create breathtaking things and had telekinesis. Ruby wasn't very enthusiastic about you at first, as she had to share the room she had previously had to herself with you, but gradually your relationship improved and you became really good friends.
Ruby knew about your crush on Isaac Night, the minor celebrity at Nevermore Academy. It is said that he is the smartest DaVinci student who ever studied at the academy. You had two classes with him and often watched him, as your seat was at the back and his was further forward so that he wouldn't miss anything. After all, he was top of the class and proudly showed it. You could say he was arrogance personified. You only saw him in his lab in the Iago Tower when there were no classes, and he only talked to his sister Francois and his roommate Gomez. No one knew for sure if he was in a relationship, but he had many admirers, even from different grades.
Ruby watched you from her side of the room and saw that you were lost in thought.
“What are you thinking about?” she asked.
You didn't want to tell her because you were afraid of what she might say.
“Oh, nothing, just school. Nothing special,” you replied.
Ruby's gaze remained questioning.
“I don't believe you. Besides, I've heard from others that you secretly watch Isaac in class,” she said.
You felt caught and tried to cover it up.
“That's not true, who said that? Why would I be interested in that weird guy?” you said, but Ruby saw right through you.
“Oh, come on, y/n, I can tell by your reaction that you like him, but you don't know how to talk to him, am I right?” she replied.
You gave up, it was pointless to lie to her and yourself.
“Yes, you're right, I like him, but he probably has a girlfriend anyway, and besides, he hardly talks to anyone except Francois and Gomez. And what would he want with a Swamer Outcast? I mean, all I can do is control insects, and he's a walking genius,” you said uncertainly.
Ruby tried to cheer you up.
"Y/n, stop putting yourself down. Here at Nevermore, everyone has their place, and you can control insects, which is really cool. I mean, you can get any spider out of any room without even touching it, and you'll never get attacked by mosquitoes or bees. I understand that you feel inferior to Isaac, but everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, even us DaVincis and Isaac too, no one is perfect. So don't be so hard on yourself, and accept your useful abilities," she said encouragingly, placing a hand on your back.
You immediately felt a little better.
“Thank you, Ruby, I really appreciate that,” you said gratefully.
“No problem, that's what friends are for.“ she replied with a smile.
“And if you want to talk to Isaac, why not visit him this afternoon at Iago Tower? I think he'll like having someone to tell about his inventions and show them to.” She spoke encouragingly.
You hesitated, but decided to take her advice and set off for Iago Tower in the afternoon. It was slightly cloudy and cold, as it was autumn.
You walked just 10 minutes from the main building and found yourself standing in front of the huge Iago Tower, which you had never been to before. You opened the door and saw an elevator in front of you. It looked a little unstable, but the only other option was the stairs, and you weren't exactly the most athletic person, so you took the elevator. It was a little strange; you could hear the rattling of the screws and the pulling. After 2 minutes, you arrived and saw Isaac through the elevator door. He was wearing a long white coat and working on a machine. You got out of the elevator and looked back once more. Maybe you should leave, you thought to yourself, but Rubys words echoed in your head: if you didn't try now, you might never talk to Isaac, so you took a few steps toward him.
“Cool machine, what can it do?” you asked without hesitation.
Isaac was briefly surprised by the unannounced visit and turned his attention from the components of his machine to you.
“I wasn't expecting visitors. But I know who you are, you're Y/n from my class, I've seen you a few times. And your roommate is Ruby,” he said.
You were shocked that he knew your name and knew Ruby.
“Y-yes, that's me. Nice to meet you, Isaac,” you replied, blushing slightly.
Isaac shook your hand with his rubber gloves.
“It's my pleasure to meet you too,” he replied with a small smile on his lips.
You smiled back.
“So you wanted to know what kind of machine this is, right?” he began to ask.
“Yes, exactly, it looks cool,” you said.
“Thanks, Y/n, let me show you around and explain everything,” Isaac said, and began to give you a tour of the Iago Tower, and you followed him excitedly.
Maybe this was the beginning of a great friendship.
Razorblade Kiss
Summary: reader and Isaac get closer and end up making love
Warnings: badly written smut, sex
You and Isaac were both students at Nevermore. He was a brilliant Da Vinci student and you were a Vanisher. You got to know him in your second year during a group project.
At first, he came across as arrogant, but you soon learned more about him. Initially, you only spent time with him because of the group project, but eventually you both became closer, and you spent your free time in Isaac and Gomez's room. You liked Gomez; he was strange sometimes, but he was also funny. He was dating Morticia Addams, and you thought they were a perfect match, like chalk and cheese, as they say.
You met up with Isaac regularly, sometimes to study, and sometimes just to pass the time. You both enjoyed watching mainstream movies like Ghostbusters or Frankenstein. It was fun for both of you, and sometimes you had to hold back your laughter. You lay with Isaac on his bed in his room, but still kept your distance from him. You liked him, but didn't know how to tell him. You were afraid he wouldn't like you back.
Isaac had his eyes focused on the TV and used his telekinesis to move the snacks from the foot of the bed.
“Do you want some popcorn too?” Isaac asked, holding the bag in front of your face with his telekinesis.
“Yes, please,” you said, taking the popcorn bag.
Isaac looked at you from the side.
“You're so quiet today, is something wrong? Don't you like the movie? Do you want to watch something else?”
You hesitated.
“Isaac, there's something I need to tell you,” you said.
Isaac waited attentively.
“And that would be?”
You tried to find the right words.
“Isaac... I think... I have feelings for you,” you stammered.
Isaac dropped the popcorn.
“You... have... feelings for... me?” he said, almost questioningly.
“Yes, Isaac, I've wanted to tell you for a long time, but I didn't know how,” you said desperately.
Isaac looked you over. He felt the same way, but he didn't know how to express it.
“What's wrong, Isaac? I knew you didn't like me,” you say disappointedly and got up from the bed to leave the room, but Isaac stopped you and blocked the door with his telekinesis.
“What's this? Let me out!” you demand, shaking the doorknob. You were glad that Gomez was on a date with Morticia right now.
“I said let me out right now or I'll make myself invisible,” you said angrily, noticing how you were lifted into the air and laid on the bed. Isaac was using his telekinesis to move you.
You sat up and looked at him questioningly.
“Y/n, I feel the same way about you, I just didn't know how to tell you,” he said desperately.
You were relieved and happy at the same time, he liked you back, and your face turned red.
“Isaac,” you wanted to say, and felt his soft lips on yours, he kissed you gently and you kissed him back.
Your hands explored his brown curls, they were as soft as silk.
You didn't want to break the kiss and continued.
The little kiss quickly turned into a make-out session, he kissed your neck and you explored his slim body.
Isaac's soft hand found its way under your t-shirt and explored your soft Breasts.
“Are you sure?” he asked between kisses.
You didn't hesitate for long and answered with a soft yes.
After you agreed, Isaac slowly began to undress you and unhooked your bra, while you unbuckled his belt.
Isaac played your favorite music in the background and with a wave of his hand, Razorblade Kiss by HIM played.
You were now both completely naked under the covers and making love. He was gentle with you, and you simply enjoyed it.
It was the most beautiful and exciting night you had ever experienced.

You had been training for hours for next week's figure skating competition. You would be representing your club at the youth figure skating championships. The thought made your heart beat faster. You had been practicing for months. It was hard, but it was worth it to you.
You glided smoothly across the ice beneath you, headphones in your ears, listening to “Don't Fear the Reaper” by Blue Öster Cult.
You spun a few pirouettes, your skates crunching on the ice of the empty rink.
You were completely lost in thought when someone called your name. It was Constance, your friend. She was in the figure skating club with you.
“Y/N, I'm going home now. There's a party at Lizzie's house later, and we're invited, so are you in?” she asked.
You glided across the ice toward her and thought for a moment, hesitating. Tuesday's competition was more important to you than Lizzie's house party. You really wanted to win next week, and a party just didn't fit into your life right now.
“I'm sorry, Constance, I can't, you know how important next week's competition is to me, I could win the youth championship and finally make a name for myself. It could change everything,” you said.
Constance looked disappointed.
"Well, if the competition is more important to you, then do what you want, it's your decision, but you'll miss out on all the fun, and besides, the police said not to stay alone because of the three fugitives from Willow Hill. I mean, that weird zombie guy was seen here just two days ago. If you come to the party, you won't be alone anymore and you won't be in danger of being killed by a madman," she argued.
You knew there had been a power outage at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital and that the last three fugitives had not yet been caught, but what would they want near the ice rink? So you didn't worry about it because it was closed anyway.
“Constance, nothing will happen. You know it's always locked from the inside, and besides, what would those strange people want here at the ice rink? Don't worry, nothing will happen to me, and I really have to win this competition,” you said carelessly.
“All right, as you wish, but send me a message when you get home, okay?” she said.
“Yes, I will. Have fun at the party later,” you replied.
“Yes, you too , here on the ice. You'll make it on Tuesday. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you,” said Constance motivatingly, giving you a thumbs up and walking through the door.
You had taken enough of a break and glided back onto the ice, starting to go through your choreography again.
You glided over the ice, every step and every movement perfect.
It was exhausting, but it was worth it to you.
The ice rink was particularly cold today, in your opinion, but it didn't bother you because you were moving anyway.
While you were unsuspectingly on the ice rink, a hungry zombie named Isaac opened the door you had forgotten to lock.
He happened to be passing by the ice rink and smelled and heard that someone was inside, so he went in. He had simply broken down the other locked doors with his strength and approached the ice rink with slow steps.
He saw the door, t was unlocked and slightly ajar. Isaac looked through it and saw you training on the ice.
He didn't hesitate for long. He opened the door and started walking towards you. You didn't notice anything yet, too busy with your choreography and the music in your ears.
Isaac watched you briefly. As you turned, you saw a figure out of the corner of your eye. At first, you thought it was your imagination, but it was really there. You stopped and looked at him longer.
You immediately noticed his brown, dirty coat with holes in it, and he was wearing strange black rubber gloves.
You looked at his face and were disturbed. His face was grayish-green, he had extremely dark circles under his eyes and open cracks around his mouth. His curly hair was tousled and uncombed. The air smelled earthy and foul.
“Excuse me, sir, but I don't think you're in the right place,” you said fearfully.
He glanced at you briefly and started moving toward you.
Panic overwhelmed you, and you remembered the Willow Hill manhunt. It fit like a glove—it was the zombie, and he looked hungry.
“Stay where you are, don't take another step!” you shouted, searching for your cell phone and realizing you had left it in your bag in the locker.
Isaac was now almost on the ice. He saw the panic on your face, but he didn't care. He was hungry, and you just happened to be there.
“I said don't move or else...” you wanted to say, but were interrupted.
“Or else what?” Isaac said grimly, coming closer.
You were shocked he could speak.
“Surprised I can talk? Well, that's what happens when you get your brain back after eating a few people,” he said with an evil smile.
You were silent and tried to escape, and were about to leave the ice rink when you fell to the ground. You had tripped over your own skates and cut your leg. The ice turned blood red and you were in pain. Isaac was getting closer and closer. You tried in vain to crawl away, but the ice was too slippery.
You gave up and felt something slimy and long on your cheek. It was his long tongue tasting you.
“Hmm, so delicious. I can't wait to taste you, but don't worry, it will be over quickly,” he said, stroking your cheeks as he knelt down beside you.
“Please don't do that, I have a competition next week, please,” you said desperately, but Isaac just smiled evilly.
“And I'm hungry, little one, and you happen to be here, so why not take advantage of the opportunity?” he said sadistically.
You wanted to say something, but Isaac stopped you and opened his mouth, dislocating his jaw and revealing his gray-green slimy tongue.
A horrible long scream came out of your mouth before he leaned toward you and killed you with one bite.
The ice around you was stained blood red, and your dreams were destroyed.
Summer Wine
Summary: reader spends her holidays in Italy, Isaac is a normie who owns a cafe in Italy, and they have dinner together and some wine and dance together
Warnings: mention of alcohol, use of alcohol
The weekend was almost here, and with summer vacation in Nevermore just around the corner, you started packing your suitcase. You would be spending your vacation in Verona, Italy, alone this time, without anyone accompanying you. You wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet and just switch off—no grades, no stress, just you, the vineyards, and delicious food.
“You have to send me a postcard, y/n,” said your friend Valentina excitedly, her green eyes staring at you eagerly.
“Of course, Valentina, I know you love it when I send my werewolf bestie postcards from my vacations,” you replied with a smile as you tried in vain to stuff the rest of your clothes and belongings into your suitcase, which was already bursting at the seams.
Valentina watched you and just smiled.
“Let me help you, I'm stronger,” she said, using her werewolf strength to close your suitcase without any problems.
“There we go,” Valentina said with a laugh.
You laughed back.
“Thank you, Valentina, without you I'd be lost sometimes,” you said.
The rest of the days flew by, and soon you were standing in front of the academy with your suitcase, waiting for the taxi driver to come and take you to the airport.
“See you next school year, y/n. I'm looking forward to your postcard from Italy. Take care,” said Valentina, hugging you.
You returned her gesture: "Yes, I will, and you have fun hunting in Canada. You can send me some pictures or letters,” you said.
“Sure, anything for my BFF,” she replied cheerfully.
You said goodbye to Valentina and saw the taxi coming from a distance. It stopped and you got in with your suitcase and bags.
“To the airport, please,” you said to the black-haired, bearded taxi driver, and he drove off. You passed the countless forests of Jericho and a few small villages before you reached the city and could saw the airport from afar.
When you arrived at the airport, you thanked him, paid for the ride, got out of the taxi with your luggage, and headed for the terminal. Your flight was leaving in 30 minutes, enough time to check in.
You walked quickly toward the security checkpoint, where the employees scanned you and your luggage, and then you were allowed to proceed toward the plane.
It was windy on the deck, and your hair was blowing wildly in the wind, which was a bit annoying.
You walked up the stairs to the plane and looked at your ticket to see which seat number you had.
After quickly scanning the interior, you found it: a window seat, just as you had booked. You sat down and fastened your seatbelt. The plane slowly filled up and eventually took off.
The flight was pleasant and quiet. You looked out the window from time to time and saw the blue sea or the Alps.
After a few hours, you finally arrived in Italy. You checked into your vacation home. The surroundings were simply gorgeous, with huge mountains and vineyards everywhere, some already ready to be harvested, some still needing a little more time. It smelled fresh, natural, and slightly fruity. It was also at least 30 degrees Celsius, with not a single cloud in the sky and the sun shining.
Your house was built of stone, painted a warm terracotta color, with a red tile roof. The windows were large and painted brown, just like the doors. Grapevines wound their way along the balcony, which was decorated with colorful flowers in window boxes.
There was also a large garden with a pool and a swing seat, and a table with chairs for visitors. Individual marble statues rounded off the whole thing.
Inside, your house was just as beautiful, decorated with expensive porcelain vases and old paintings, and it had a special smell that was slightly resinous and warm.
You unpacked your suitcase and took a shower to freshen up after the long flight. The pleasant water ran down your back and you washed your hair at the same time.
After your shower, you ate something you had bought at the airport and went to bed. It was already dusk outside and you could hear the crickets chirping.
The next day came quickly and you woke up from your sleep. Since you had nothing to eat for breakfast, you decided to explore the city and look for a café, so you got dressed and set off. The morning air was fresh and clean, and the birds were chirping loudly.
It didn't take long before you arrived in the city. There were lots of plants and historic houses everywhere, and it smelled of fresh flowers and bread. You followed the smell and found a small café in a side street, and went inside. You were immediately greeted by the smell of fresh rolls, coffee, and delicious pastries.
It wasn't too busy, just a few old people sitting there enjoying their morning coffee.
There was no one at the counter, but that didn't matter to you, as it gave you extra time to think about what you wanted to order. Your gaze fell on the many different baked goods, everything looked delicious. As you looked around, a male voice suddenly spoke.
„Buongiorno, cosa desiderate?"
You were pulled out of your thoughts and saw the Man in front of you. He looked like he was straight out of a movie, with long brown curls and chocolate brown eyes. He wore work clothes that flattered his slim figure. You wanted to answer, but your Italian wasn't the best, so you just looked at him questioningly.
“English? You must be a tourist, right?” he said in English so you could understand him. And you nodded.
“Yes, I am. I'm from Jericho, America,” you said.
“Ah, an American. Nice to meet you,” he said.
“Y/n. My name is y/n,” you introduced yourself shyly.
“I'm Isaac, the bakery is mine,” he said with a smile.
Isaac. The name suited him so well.
“It's very beautiful, very cozy,” you replied.
“Thank you, so what can I offer the lady?” Isaac asked.
You hesitated:
“Um, what would you recommend?” you asked Isaac.
Isaac smiled and pointed to various pastries.
“These are popular: sfogliatella, or these biscotti,” he said.
You thought about it.
“I'll take the first one and a cappuccino, please,” you said kindly and took out your money.
Isaac took out the pastry, placed it on a plate, and made your cappuccino.
You put the money on the counter, and Isaac saw it.
“No, it's on the house for a beautiful woman like you,” he said with a smile on his lips.
You blushed a little.
“T...thank you very much,” you replied shyly.
“You're welcome,” Isaac winked and placed your pastry and coffee on the tray.
You found a seat and started eating. The pastry was delicious and the cappuccino was nothing like the ones you got at Nevermore. While you were eating, you noticed Isaac watching you from time to time.
A few days passed and you visited his café more often. By now, you were already acquainted, and tonight you invited him to your vacation home to drink wine because you were bored on your own.
It didn't take long before Isaac was standing at your door, wearing a beautiful red suit. He looked even more handsome in normal clothes than in his work clothes. And he had brought red roses for you.
“For you, amore,” he said with a smile and pressed the roses into your hand. They were gorgeous.
"Oh, thank you so much, Isaac, they're beautiful.“
you said with a smile placing the roses in one of the porcelain vases.
“Just like you,” Isaac replied with a smile.
You felt flattered.
“I've already prepared everything in the garden so we can enjoy the sunset and the expensive wine,” you said, and led Isaac into the garden. Everything was beautifully decorated with candles and flowers.
“You've put so much effort into this, bellisima.” Isaac said, impressed.
You thanked him and you both sat down on the wooden chairs.
You had prepared antipasti, risotto, and tiramisu.
“You did all this yourself?” Isaac asked.
“Yes, I was bored, so I thought I'd cook for the nice baker boy I met two weeks ago,” you replied as you poured the wine into two glasses.
“Impressive,” he said.
You both ate together and talked about all kinds of things. You found out that he was half American and had opened his own café after graduating as a baker, and he was single, just like you.
The sun was slowly setting and you were both relaxed and more at ease thanks to the wine.
Sometimes Isaac would say romantic things in his slightly tipsy state, which just made you laugh. One glass followed another, and you both decided to dance. The sun had long since set, and the only light came from the moon and the many candles you had lit.
“But we don't have any music, Isaac,” you said, a little drunk.
“Who needs music when we have you, me, and the crickets?” he said with a romantic smile.
“Oh, Isaac,” you replied with a smile and took his hand, and the two of you slowly began to dance.
“Y/n, promise me you'll come visit me when you're on vacation next time,” he whispered.
“Of course I will,” you said.
“Thank you. I think I've finally found someone I...” He hesitated.
“You what?” you replied.
Isaac just looked deep into your eyes and kissed you, his lips feeling soft and tender on yours, and you kissed him back.
My requests for Isaac are open, I don’t write smut, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to write them down here 😉, love y’all and thanks for the support 😘
