Rei nodded and smiled. She quietly turned off the flash and took a picture, showing Floette how the picture pops up on the screen after it was taken. The girl chuckled. "It will take about a day to get it developed, are you staying in town for a while longer or were you about to leave?"

"It is quite an interesting subject once you get into it, especially Pokemon that can evolve into different forms depending on the circumstances like their gender, or a stone you use." And then he paused. "Although if you get me going I’m afraid I’ll never shut up." And he completely ignores the blush on her face, of course.

"Heh, well I better not ask any more questions." Rei said and stood. "I should probably get going. Thank you again for your help, Professor. Maybe we will meet again. I like to think we will if I get this internship." She said and slung her bag over her shoulder. "How about you tell me more about evolution next time we meet? I'd love to hear more."

He leaned forward so he could see them. The camera still fascinated him, even if it had been around for awhile. “They are… good pictures. You are a good photographer,” he said, moving his dark eyes to look at her. “I don’t have much I could offer you in return for any pictures,” he said. Honestly it was kinda questionable how he managed to get the supplies he needed and whatnot. Floette looked at the pictures in fascination, before trying to peer into the lens of the camera.

Rei looked at him with a smile. "No payment needed. I asked you to take the pictures, so I don't expect payment. Your payment was your time as my model." She said and chuckled at the fairy pokemon. "Do you like my camera, Floette?"

"N-no! I’m not a trainer!" The wayfarer said quickly, nearly stumbling into her words as she did. The Pikachu just behind her might have set off the hint, causing an almost direct panic set in her mind. "She doesn’t battle, sorry!"

"Huh? I don't want to battle. I'm not a trainer either." She said and chuckled. "I'm just trying to make friends~ My name is Rei, i'm a pokemon photographer. I used to battle but I just hate seeing my dear Pokemon get hurt- so I quit."

He let her shake his hand, but rather than letting go, he lifted it up a bit, then leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top. ”A pleasure to meet you,” he said, giving her a bright smile afterwards.

"That’s right. My main area of focus is Mega Evolution, though I am also an expert on evolution in general."

Rei smiled sheepishly, ignore the heat she suddenly felt on her face. This Professor was very different from the others she had met, not that it was a problem.

"That's nice. I never really thought much about evolution, but I'm guessing it's not as simple as it seems."

"Ah don’t feel bad, mademoiselle. Lumiose is a very large city. There is a reason why the taxis make so much money." He added a lighthearted laugh at that, just trying to cheer her up. Yes, a lot of tourists got lost, but it wasn’t like it was without reason.

"And no need to worry. This is my city, and my job is partly helping people, after all." He held out his hand. "Professor Augustine Sycamore, mademoiselle."

"Oh, so you're the professor in this region." Rei commented and shook his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Professor Sycamore. My name is Rei Mori." She said with a bright smile. "I've heard a bit about you, Professor. You're studying mega evolution correct?"

"Hello!" Rei said happily and waved at the new person she had just met. "I'm Rei, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Oh, hello there. I'm Rei, what's your name?" Rei asked the trainer who she stumbled into. She hadn't been at this new region long and figured it was time to start making some friends.

And AZ just walked along as she did so. He kept an eye on her the whole time, partially out of curiosity and so that he didn’t accidentally, you know, run over her instead. He’d bumped into more then enough people that way.

He slowed down before stopping once she was done. He turned and walked over, before very slowly, very carefully going to kneel down so he could see the images. “Does it now…?” Floette moved off of his head and over to Rei, wanting to see the camera.

Rei nodded and held the camera up for him to see. "I like it. See, Floette looks so cute staring at the camera." She commented and switched pictures, showing him the rest. "If there is one you really like just let me know and I'll get a print for you." She said and craned her head so she could look at the huge man's face.

Sycamore couldn’t help but chuckle at that, though he put a hand to his mouth and tried to muffle it so he wouldn’t offend the girl. If he had a Poke-Dollar for every time he saw a lost tourist, he’d be… well maybe not rich, but he could afford better socks.

"Ah, I see," he said, nodding once he’d put his hand down. "You are looking for the newspaper building, Lumiose Press, yeah? That is on Estival Avenue."

Rei turned slightly red and hid her face. She groaned into her hands before dropping her head on the table. "I've walked past there ten times!" She sighed.

She glanced up at the man. "Thank you so much, sir. You must see lost people all the time around here." She said with a soft smile. Rei wasn't one to stay embarrassed for very long. "Hopefully I'll soon figure out the city and won't have to ask for help." The brunette chuckled with a small grin.

"WATCH OUT!" Rei screamed at anyone who happened to be in front of her. She didn't know why she kept riding this bike, it always broke on her. She raced down the grassy path and tried her best to stop it.

"Crud crud cru- EEK!" She screamed as someone stepped into her path. The bike clashed with the person and sent them both flying into the near by pond. Rei sat up quickly and crawled around. "OH GOD DID I KILL SOMEONE? HELLO? HELLO ARE YOU ALIVE IM SO SORRY."

So maybe it was an odd time of day to be leaving the lab for coffee, let alone a round of the usual cafes, but no one had questioned when Sycamore simply waltzed out of the lab and headed to do just that. What harm could taking some time to himself be, anyway?

And he was just in time to see the girl slump slumped down, looking absolutely dejected. Now how could he ignore a damsel in distress. ”Something the matter, mademoiselle?”
