first of all, i am immensely sorry in regards to how long this blog has been inactive. it’s been about half a year since we last responded to a request, and i apologize to those of you who we weren’t able to help in your time of need

in addition to this, because i’m not sure how many of the requests we’ve received since then are relevant, i cleared out the ask box. feel free to resubmit any requests we haven’t responded to, and i apologize deeply for any inconvenience this may cause you

i am going to open up mod applications ! if i can get in contact with them, i need to consult the other mods about how many, if any, new mods will be chosen, but in the meantime it wouldn’t hurt to see who is willing to lend an extra hand ! here is a link to the application for those who are interested

Positivity for Blue (the female PC, not the rival) who's been overcome with loneliness and homesickness lately? My canon was a strange mishmash of the published timelines, so the chances of finding my Red, Green, or pokemon are slim...

Colress here. Last week, my boyfriend and I broke up (don't worry we're still great friends and this isn't really about recovering from that), and it made me realize that I have extremely bad dependency issues. It was to the point where I think I mistook my own dependency for love. I'm doing alright now, but I know I need help to get through it. Can I get a little encouragement that I'll get the help I need and break through my dependency problems in the end (it took too long to realize them)?

and to be honest, you’re really not alone; up until just a few months ago i was in the exact same boat

but i can tell you that it definitely does get better !! it might sound cliché, but i promise it’s true !! it may seem like it will take forever to be able to get past dependency struggles, but you’ve already made so much more progress than you realize !!! even just recognizing that you need to overcome these issues is a really important step to recovering !! you’re very strong and i know you can get through this !!!

Hi! It's Froslass again! I didn't get far into the tests before I fainted but like when I woke up I was surrounded by doctors and they were all worried sick about me the nurse in charge of my tests was shaking ;; they did everything they could for me and When I was released I walked out to hear a song I playing on the piano that I really really like and it brought back really good memories too! My arm hurts from the the IV But other than that I'm doing really well now!!! ;w;

Can I get positivity for a sylveon? One of my closest friends is feeling absolutely awful, and completely worthless.. and he pushed me away as I was trying to help, and I feel awful sitting here doing nothing, and I don't know what to do.. but he won't accept my help and just.. positivity please?

i know how you feel, but sometimes people just need space. pushing others away is common when someone feels awful, but its not your fault! just make sure he knows you love him and you're there, you're a wonderful friend and its in a sylveon's nature to be caring. you're not doing nothing, you're still worried for him and that shows how caring you are, you're doing your best!!

Can I have love for Paul, from the anime? I'm having awful canon memories, my father was Pyramid King Brandon and he physically and verbally abused me, and raped me at 13. Remembering it caused my age to regress for a few hours, it was really scary. But despite being deathly terrified of Brandon, I still want to find him. I feel so dirty for this, why would I want to find someone like that, right? I just... Want to know why he did it, even though I'll never forgive him. Thanks in advance.

I'm so sorry you have to go through that, but wanting to find him to know why doesn't make you dirty! you need closure, it could potentially help you move on if you had answers. try to remember he can't get to you to hurt you, you're safe now! you can get through it, you're strong as your pokémon and you can tough it out!

C-can I have positivity for a Froslass who's dealing with a lot of stress (college, bipolar, anorexia to name a few) and is having diminishing health because of it? I'm scared... I have to go for more tests soon to figure out what's wrong and I don't like hospitals at all they scare me and give me awful anxiety....

Don’t be afraid of hospitals, Froslass, they’re only here to help people! I understand how you feel, because I’m the exact same way, but trust me when I say that they only mean well, and won’t hurt you. Try looking up some calming methods that can help you out. Breathing exercises, counting backwards from 100, play a game like tetris (what i normally do), find some general positivity blogs to scroll through, buy a fidget toy, or maybe pick up a small hobby to help you vent your stress; like drawing or writing! It may help to talk to a therapist for further help with this stuff, and if you don’t have one, you should consider finding one! Just like hospitals, they’re only here to help. If it makes you feel better, there are people with no problems whatsoever that have therapists, too, because it’s always just helpful to have someone there to talk things through with. You’ve got this, Froslass. Don’t forget to let us know how it goes!

Aww, don’t give up, Sylveon! You are such a beautiful pokemon, I’ll bet a lot of trainers are dying to be friends with you! Have you tried submitting calls to various blogs? It can go a long way. Also, try joining some pokekin networks! You may find some trainers that would love to talk to you, as well as other pokemon. Who knows, maybe they know trainers that they can direct your way.
